Test Track for a tall 3 year old

I am about the only one who is not ride crazy when it comes to kids. But my situation is also a little unique. My oldest is 6 and this year was his first ride on TT. He also has a heart condition so I am never trying to convince him that any ride is fun. He was the one who wanted to ride it and he has been tall enough for a few years now. When I just asked him if he liked it, he said he didn't like it. As much as some kids don't want to hear it there is a reason for the height requirement. I mean a 20' foot drop for someone how is 6' is quite different than someone 3'. My advice is let your kid determine what s/he wants to go on. If they understand what they are getting into and they are tall enough by all means have at it even if they are 3.

I admit that taking out a business card and checking is a little too much, but there HAS to be a cutoff. If you decide a card's width is OK, well, what about a little more? And a little more than that?

The rule is that you have to touch the bar, without aid. In most cases its easy to spot, and probably most CMs aren't going to challenge you on a few hairs difference, but I have seen them look closely.

Also note that these poles are not accurate to a high degree of tolerance, although Disney does seem to do a pretty decent job. But that's why one kid might just make it at one attraction and not another.

To get back on topic, DD#2 was just over 3 when we went last December, and was just tall enough to ride Test Track. It's her favorite ride...

My daughter has been on it, once when she was 3 1/2 and once when she was just barely 4. She likes everything except the end when it goes fast. I'd recommend trying to be in the back of the car, it's a little less windy. But my daughter doesn't like FAST or big hills. LOL

almost four and just 40 inches - they loved Test Track! They also enjoyed Big Thunder Mountain and Soarin. We didn't take them on Tower of Terror (because I'm afraid of it, LOL).

So all the rides at Disney are safe cuse the older I get the higher my anxity level gets so theses threds are helping me a lot
