Test Track for a 4 yr old?

My kids loved it at 4. My 4 year old was still 3 and loved it last year.

I also saw the Travel Channel special which featured TT. My 5 DD (41") loves all thrill rides & cannot wait to ride this...however, my 11 DS was so looking forward to this until he saw the show! He's not afraid of speed, but will absolutely not get on anything that has even the smallest drop (like a roller coaster)....does anyone know if there are any drops (no matter how small) on Test Track?

I don't remember there being any drops but it's been 8 years since we have been on it so I may just be forgetting. Try looking up TT on YouTube. If anyone has filmed the entire ride you may be able to find out there.

Uh yeah he's huge.. he'll be 3 next week and is the same size (if not taller) than my friends 5.5 yr old son... He's a big boy... My 5 yr old daughter is almost the same size as my friends 8 yr old son... You'd think I was 6' or something.. I'm 5'3 My 8 yr old daughter will be as tall as I am by the time she's 12. Its crazy.

That IS crazy! We have a friend who is 6'7" and their son isn't even that tall but he is a little over a year younger than DS and is taller than him. Of course the mom is only 5'! Talk about odd looking couples! Good Luck with your new little one!

I dont think there are any drops on Test Track. This was my favorite ride

Sometimes I show my kids videos of rides on Youtube before our trips to help them decide if they want to try something or not. There are lots of them out there for Test Track. I just recommend previewing videos before you show them to your child in case there is some bad language. You can't always predict what people will blurt out when they are on a thrill ride .

Yeah, DS LOVES watching the videos of Haunted Mansion on there but when I say "see, it's not that bad, do you want to go on it?" He's like, "NO WAY, that's scary!" I doubt this will happen but I'm hoping if he sees some other little kids in line that he will go on too!

My ds rode it at four and loves it as well. Imo it's a bit different than a roller coaster. Our rule is, let him try it once and then if he never wants to ride it again, that's ok too.

My DD4 loved Test Track. We just got back and she rode it like 4 times in a row. She cried when we left because she wanted to go on it again. She went on every ride she was tall enough for. She even wanted to go on Tower of Terror. This suprised me because I didn't even want to go on it!! But after we got off she said she didn't want to go on it again.

And there are no drops on Test Track, either.
