Test Track closed?

i have noticed Test Track has been closed the last few days what's going on?

How's the weather been? It is a ride with an outdoor portion... if the weather's been poor, the ride won't run.

Whew, as soon as I saw the topic, I panicked! I missed it last time due to refurb!

Probably due to the tropical storm. We got lots of rain and a good amount of wind.

If there's not a scheduled refurb and you see an outside ride is down, it's more than likely due to weather.

And this is one that closes for just rain, right? Most take full on lightening/storms but TT is more "senstive" isn't it?

I happened to be checking the app yesterday evening and it showed a 70 minute wait time for Test Track, so it was open for at least part of the day!

Does TT break down often? I forget which day it was exactly (sometime before noon during the second week of July), we were about halfway through the indoor portion when the ride stopped and we had to be evacuated. I checked the app several times and it appeared to be closed the rest of the day. (We rode a couple days later.)

The best strategy is always to rode first thing. I bet TT has been down half if the times we've meant to ride

Yes, it can close for rain. A light sprinkle is usually fine, but anything heavier and they will close it down. The cars would lose traction.

More often than a hurricane and just as unpredictable. Nice thing is they are shorter, usually.

As it turns out I was outside Mission Space all afternoon when TT shut down. I heard the announcement. It wasn't a tropical storm. It was a beautiful Florida summer day until a routine thunderstorm rolled in. It wasn't much at all. Lightning and rain in the area always forces TT to cease operations. I heard them cycle the cars around the track before leaving and I suspect it will be operational tonight unless more rain shows up.

Chill out on the porch. Walk the dog. Make some popcorn. I missed it two years in a row and still haven't seen Fea in the last visits. You will be fine. Panic should be reserved for things like iasw refurb and melting Mickey bars.

LOL. Easier said than done! I'm already bummed about Ellens Energy and TGMR and Splash all being unavailable! Test Track would've caused a mini meltdown!
