... did you participate/ watch this last night?

I thought that the last Test The Nation was a great idea, although I found the programme was overlong and had too many chats with people in the audience and "celebrities". Thinking that they may have thought so too and perhaps made the programme shorter and snappier, we watched and participated in last nights but have to say, it was still overlong with too many chats and having got thtough to the end it was about as enlightening as one of those multi-choice magazine tests. I think they played far too much to the sections in the studio than the folk back home.

We flicked on and off it ,we were watching something else as well.

When they did the scoring my DH had mostly the highest point answers I had to remind him you need to answer truthfullly not just give the 'correct' answer!

Ah at last!! I was beginning to think we were the only people who'd watched it - well at least you flicked it on and off !!

It will have to be a good topic and a shorter prog for us to bother with it again!

We watched it too. I scored 170 and hubby 176 - I was more honest.

DH said in there analysis Plymouth was the mose 'loved-up' place!

I fould it too long too, they should get rid of the cleb's IMHO.

We discovered that there were 2 ways you could play this game:

You could either tell the truth and be honest, or you could choose what would be the correct answer in a 'perfect world!'

Overall, i didn't enjoy this TTN as much as i did the first two (IQ test and General knowledge).

The scoring format was different / starnge too.
Put it this way, all three people in our house that did the test, got different scores, but yet still ended up in the same catagory at the end!

I hope they go back to the original format if they make another one of these shows.

I also agree the programme is long, and drawn out, and a lot of time is spent small-talking to the people in the studio.

I know you can play on the web, and that is much quicker b/c you can skip all the boring stuff, but since it's meant as entertainment, i'd rather still watch the tv and fill in the sheets.

my friend was on this!!! she was one of the 'single women' so I HAD to watch it!! Just about caught sight of her right at the back

We stayed awake for most of it, with Mark scoring MUCH higher than me!!! OOPS!....Hopefully that doesn't say too much of our coming marriage!
