I'm home! A little tired, but here...we had to get up at 3:45 a.m. as our flight was at 6:45 out of Ft. Myers...flight delayed in Atlanta...HI MOMMA...so we were about an hour behind schedule getting home.

More later about our boring week, I'm tired and want to just veg for a bit...

BUT..prayers to those that posted about sickness in their families

GO RIVER RATS...and I too hate that freakin' time change stuff, now we are back to 3 hrs. behind my son...2 is liveable, but 3 stretches it

and yes, it was awful, but I did manage to put up with 80 degree temps all last week while I lounged on the beach... it was nice just to not go to work for a week...back there tomorrow

Nico is slowly moving today. He was sad that the Caps lost, but he had a good time.

Sammie for the first time is resisting her medicine. I told her she could eat breakfast first. I am hoping that she is in a better mood once she eats. Anyone know how long they have to be on meds for before they aren't contageous?

slow moving here this morning...had a bad night last night...i'll tell you more about it later after i get the kids to school.

ocm--usually it is 24 hrs. but with pink eye i think it is after you do the first round a drops which is what the script says...3 x's a day i think???

mic--glad you are home!!! come back and tell us more about the boring 80 degree weather when you have time

mac--you working today?

tony--it does stink that it is still dark out!!!!

ocm - they used to tell you to put a pair of shades on the pink eye (a pair you won't mind throwing away - ew germs) to spare their sore 'lil eyes. Hope Sammy (what was that funny name she calls herself - cannot remember) is feeling better.

mic - ds eating you out of house & home yet?

tvt - it's going to a tropical 69degrees here today wonder if the driving range will be open? Sounds alot better than my planned grocery shopping.

We're missing a few campers...think they snuck off somewhere good without us?

ks--i am in central. Had to get the kids off to school.

okay for my night last night. I worked at walmart and i was supervising the front end while the CSS(customer service supervisor) went on break. I was standing behind one of the check stand talking to this other guy that worked there and noticed that someone left a gallon of milk so him and i were standing there talking about who could have left it. This lady that was checking out came upto me and said "if you have something to say about me say it to my face!" I was shocked because i had NO IDEA what she was talking about. I tried to assure her that we were NOT talking about her and so did the guy i was talking to. Then she told me that this was not the first time I have done that to her.
I called the assistant manager and he talked to her....she kept saying that she was never coming back because of the way she was treated and crap like that.

Okay, I have never seen this woman before. I had NO IDEA who she was until afterwards. I guess she is this other CSS sil and she has seen me talk to this css and wants to get her fired or something because she doesn't like her.

The assistant manger told me to let it go and that she was a crazy woman looking to stir up trouble. I told him that it would be one thing if i was talking about her but i said nothing and didn't glare at her as she stated. He was totally sticking up for me so I was really glad about that. I told him that this was my "fun" job and if crap like this happened again then it wouldn't be FUN anymore and i would quit in a heartbeat...i don't need it! Speaking of quitting...my last day out there is going to be around april 20th due to our crazy baseball summer.

me.......Hi Sammie, how are you feeling
Sam.....We are going to julie school....
me.....Julie is going to school....
Sam....uh huh.....
me....Sam can I talk to your Mom??
Sam.... ok...here mom...it's Tony....it's Granpapa Tony.....

That's the first time she said my name...(that I have heard anyway) and it just melted my heart....she's a big girl now....


ROAD TRIP.....I gotta go see the "grandkids" now!!!

Sammie has been talking for a while, but she is getting much better about talking on the phone now too.

Pam I am so sorry about the crazy night. I think quiting is in order. You don't need to be dealing with psychotic adults after dealing with all those kids in the morning.

mac--i have to quit...i haven't been there a year. They did tell me that if i want to work when my schedule allows to apply again and tell them(a manager) and they will hire me back on in a heartbeat. Not sure if i want to go back if i have to put up with that...i'll have to think about it.

ocm--hope sammie is feeling better!

tony--it gets warm here...in fact...it is suppose to be 75 here today!!! if you come in the summer it may get in the 100's.....is that warm enough for ya????

mic must be busy at work...she hasn't even checked in with us today yet!

Afternoon all..sorry for no check-in, have tons of work to catch up on...lots of paper..the pile is going down though, I'm trying to get caught up so I can play without feeling guilty.. Just taking a slight break for a minute...

Oh BOY road trips, I'm game, I wanna go too...oh grandpapa Tony...

Pam, what happened to you in Wal-Mart, that is called working retail! Been there done that in my Disney career, I'm telling you, there are some loonies out there and they love to make a clerks life miserable. Your mgr. is right, try and ignore it...I know it's hard, especially for someone like me that would love to cuss them out and knock a couple front teeth down their throat in some sense, I still deal with that here at this job, it's still working with the public, and some day's its HARD...these people came in today, waiting for a salesman, they start rooting around in our cabinet display area, I ask if I can help them, and the guy says "oh, I was looking for tea bags, I see you have a coffee maker, and I wanted tea"....
