bob--cameron looks just like you!!! Those pictures are too cute!!

tvt--hope you feel better soon.

deena--hope your ds feels better soon.

ks--i bet you can milk it till christmas...then just by her a good gift and you may be good until summer.

adam--are you under paperwork???

Hope ed is having a great time...tvt...when you see him you will have to tell him we all miss him!

Well, i am off....did i mention that it really stinks not having a computer upstairs?!?!?!?

Have a good nekkid day everyone!

Bob, the pictures are GREAT...you are all cuties...love all the red, so festive. Glad you shared with us, LOVE them

Deena, sorry little Connor is still under the weather. Strep is making rounds in our area, it's that time of year.

I could SO go to sleep right now, its warm outside, light rain and almost too warm in here.......makes me groggy

KS, you keep busy too....zoom zoom

Pam, hope you get the puter back by Saturday...oh boy, a fun day of shopping! We used to do something like that, but MIL isn't able to get around anymore and honestly, I never have the time...we used to go on a weekday.......ahh...the good old days when life was fun and uncomplicated.

Momma, we have all done something or other with our kids that we know we shouldn't have, so don't fret. I'm sure it was scary, but Nico is a smart little boy and I bet he knew you were on your way! He even got the mail for you :goodvibes

GET OUT OF BED AND FACE THE COLD !!!!!

And a little bit of news for those facing the onslaught of snow and cold today........Orlando was 1 degree away from a record high yesterday, we got to 84 !! :thumbsup2 More of the same today and this weekend... :cool1: ;) Now doesn't that make you snowbirds feel better??? :lmao:

Morning...zoom zoom for me.......... :moped:

hmmm...our high right now 67 degrees at 7 a.m. on DEC 1st! Supposed to get to 70 today, in fact, in Baltimore it IS 70! Wind and cooler temps, the 40's on slate for the weekend...but that is still tolerable. Today is too warm for us, doesn't feel like the holidays are approaching.

Have a good morning friends :wave2:

Morning Everyone

I'm off to teach the toddlers today. It shoudl be a lot of fun!

Pam - have a great shopping trip!! Im sure that will be a blast.

Mic - did you take your nap last evening?

Tony - I hope you have a lot of fun with Diane this weekend. Tell her I send my love and give her a hug from me.

Mac - that is a great deal with AT&T. I dont have all that caller id and things like that. But at one point, I was using bell south for long distance, caller id, call waiting, internet, and local phone service and my bill ended up being 150!! I cancelled them right away.

Deena - what did the Dr say abot Connor? How was the show last night?

Keisha - I say milk that for at least through the wedding. :thumbsup2

Bob - what are your weekend plans?

Gant - I hope you come out for a quickie soon.

Good Friday:sunny:

Our weather today started out @ 67 when I woke up this a.m.; positively tropical, have been enjoying it for weeks. The cold front will come thru this afternoon, they've predited:

60 mph winds
tornados
thunderstorms
hail
snow
temps falling to 30 in a few hours

what's up w/the weird weather the last few years? global warming, el nino, armageddon (come back in about a million years, i'm not ready;) )

off to my much postponed mammogram/ultrasound, always opens such a can of worms for me; glad I have a conservative surgeon on board who's not trigger-happy.

hope you have a much better day than I anticipate experiencing:goodvibes .

good snowy lousy friday morning...........

last night at midnight, weather was fine.

at 5:00 started to shovel so mr mac could get out.

right now we have almost 10 inches and it's still coming down.
28 degrees, high winds, schools are closed, snow plows haven't even started yet. they are waiting to noon as nothing is going to work at this poiint.

where we shoveled is covered 10 fold at this point......

some say we could get anywhere between 6 to 12 inches.
now they are saying some parts about 10 miles west of me are going to get up to 16 inches or more.

good thing i have cat food.......

so glad ed got out of dodge yesterday and in orlando now. it would have been a crime if he got stuck at the airport if he was leaving this morning.

and all of you above are loving your weather now, eh........
just wait, i watched the weather channel

keisha, good luck and good wishes with mr x-ray man.

deena how was the doc appointment with connor and how was scoobydoo?

mic, where are you now?

tony, turn that knife one more time while my back is turned.
some day you could be enjoying the white stuff.

and to everyone else, have a nice day !!

Connor had a really bad ear infection. His eardrum was perforated. I felt bad for him, his ear was really starting to hurt. I asked him everyday if his ear or throat hurt and everyday he said no. The dr said some kids just have a high tolerance. I wish he didnt so we could have found it sooner.

He made it through Scooby Doo okay (which BTW was to long) but when we left that was it. He was a mess and woke up just as bad today. Its going to be a very long day.

deena, what do you do for the eardrum?
is it the case where you just have to wait for time to heal it ?
i have heard about that before but don't know what the doc does to help that condition.

it is still snowing.
what i shoveled at 7:30, is now covered.
had to go out and stick my stick in the snow to measure........

didn't mean to sound more stupid than i am but i do realize connor would receive an antibiotic for the infection.

but does the eardrum heal by itself?

no more peepers around this morning???

don't tell me your weather has changed already.......think you will get the bad storms this afternoon.

buy your milk and bread now while you can !!!!!!!

Morning all (it's still morning, isn't it?)

DW headed off to Chicago last night -- about the one place in the country you don't want to be right now. She's supposed to fly home tonight -- something tells me that's not happening. :rolleyes1 Her Christmas party (black tie optional) is tomorrow night, but I don't think she's going to be up to going to it, so we'll see. Sunday we're taking the boys to breakfast with Santa. :)

Mac it will heal by itself. I just cant believe it was that bad and he kept saying it didnt hurt.

hate to tell you this bob, but she won't be getting out anytime soon here.
ohare cancelled 450 flights before dawn.
they have now 400 delayed flights ....clt-tv, local chi station just posted on delayed flights are now at 4 hours 30 minutes.

looking at the tv now and the numbers are rising on cancellations and delays.

quite a few of my poster friends told me an hour ago they had family and friends to fly out at 6 this morning for the motherland. they were called during the night to be informed their flights were cancelled and rescheduled to sunday.
the freezing rain started last night around 10 pm
after that the snow started at midnight.
the heavy winds are making plowing not possible where i am but it is helping in the city. thats chicago, chi town, we up here just refer to it as the city.

is your wife at the hotel or at the airport bob?
if the streets were drivable, i would go out and pick her up to keep her company. it's only a 35 minute drive for me to the airport in normal weather and if i speed.........

She's at the hotel for a training right now and last I've heard, she has a flight on hold for tomorrow morning in case tonight's gets cancelled (and the option to extend her hotel reservation).

i just checked out ohare situation.
they have announced that american and united airlines have cancelled all flights until later this afternoon. if she is on one of those two major airlines, she can call to reschedule a flight out later today. they are predicting they can resume flights after 3 today if all things slow down here.

since i am north east of the airport and just less than 2 miles from lake michigan, i get a lot more of the wind and snow.
i saw that south of the city did not get hit hard.

i am 2 miles from kenosha wisconsin and they now have a blizzard advisory out.

i lose either way ..........

hope things work out for your wife and her flight. hopefully, she will be able to get out tonight.

local news said here for the flights going east will be the ones with the longer delays as the east will have the bad weather travel in that direction later.

Thanks for the info, Mac. :) I think she's on US Air (she flew up on Continental, but I know she's not scheduled to come home on them). Her backup flight, right now, is a 7am flight tomorrow on United, so if they cancel her flight tonight, I think she's just going to stay at the hotel tonight.

:sunny: still sunny & 60 here, tornados 10 miles away an hour ago, it's coming.

mac - 10 inches huh;) , that's what they all say (sorry, it's been that sorta day), hope it melts soon. I had almost convinced myself winter wasn't coming this year.

bob - better for DW to stay on terra firma during a storm IMO.

deena - wow, little guys sounds like a toughie to me! 1 of mine had it happen, no linering after-effects once it healed. Actually, it seemed to be the end of his recurrent ear infections he had suffered from for years, series of antibiotics & repeated tube placement. Has Connor had the tubes (do they even still do that?). Regardless, hope he's settled in & feels better soon, too bad he couldn't enjoy Scooby, perhaps a film-fest would cheer him up.

Tech managed to bruise my ribs w/mammogram (same place I busted them up in a car accident many years ago). Guess they protrude or something, feel like i've been kicked in the side, already turning black & blue. Good initial read that the status quo hasn't changed:teeth: , all that worry for nothing. I'll still feel better once I get the results in the mail.
