Morning all

Cameron's got today off from school -- he's spending the day at his karate school, which is hosting a "kick or treat" day. The boys are off tomorrow morning for a weekend at my folks' house. We'll meet back up with my parents Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh, where we're visiting my new nephew.

Saturday night's our monthly bowling league night.

a friend called and wants to go meet up at six flags fright fest tonight.
like a fool i said ok.


pam, we did the same thing in our community when the kids were small.
did lose one kid and when the police came i couldn't find the cards that had the id stuff in it.
but we found the kid so it turned out okay after all.

gant, do enjoy the present this weekend.

bob, hope you win the bowling game. if you win, you need to split the prize with us......

Hi, I'm here.......had a lot of personal stuff to attend to before digging into my work.....LOL....had some packages to get ready of UPS...sending the boys some Halloween goodies...grandma packages are the best

No plans right now for the weekend...Bob, you sound busy as do the rest of the gang...I'm playing mine by ear, whatever happens, happens. Next Sunday I think we are planning on going to Arlington National Cemetary to see the Tomb of the Unknown and meet up with DBIL, do the sightseeing and then have dinner someplace neat...wanted to do it this weekend, but he was busy. I guess we will visit the Kennedy site also while there. I've not been in years, and ds has been wanting to go there. The Tomb if you have not ever been, is very interesting to watch the changing of the guard etc. I can't even describe the feeling of patriotism and pride in our country it brings to observe it all. Like going to the Statue of Liberty, when I got next to her, it was just so overwhelming and awesome.

Anyhoot, ......Friday's is like a zoo around here. New phones being installed, so we have no phone right now, and I can't page anyone........

I think that is my house right now....the kids are home from school today and all they have been doing is FIGHTING today..i just got done threatening them they fight...they don't get to go to a bday party and the other one does NOT get to have a friend over...all is quiet for now

Greetings everyone. Had meetings all day today Will be going to our high school football game tonight. They are currently 5-0 and ranked 5th in the state. DD and I take pictures of the game so we get to watch the action from the field. We usually have about 6,000 fans come to watch.

Tomorrow is coaching soccer games at 9 and 10 in the AM then watching cars make left hand turns in the PM. Sunday is our annual sibling get together in Atlantic City where we will terrorize at least one buffet.

hey mic, do you want to go to the tomb on the 26th?

i am trying to line up a room and flight to go to arlington cemetary for that date.

that is the day my uncle is being laid to rest there in a military burial.


of course you have to take out 45 minutes to come cry with me but after that we could kick up our heels and have fun......


isn't that awful of me. makng plans to go to the burial and then go out and have a good time. i should be so ashamed.

but what i would do to meet one of the fellow testers....

Gosh mac, I'm sorry about your uncle...but the 26th is a weekday and I don't have much time left to take off, I'm taking days off in November. What are your plans though and how long are you staying? Let me know...if at all possible I'd love to meet up.

We may go leaf peeping tomorrow...ds got a new job, so we are celebrating and not sure if they are tagging along, or we just are meeting them for dinner tomorrow evening...hey any chance to eat out...

Hey all. Who stold my cold front. We got a little one but it didnt really get a lot cooler. It was supposed to get into the 50's for a night or 2 but it didnt. Oh well. Atleast its not 100 anymore

Evan played his last football game of the season today. His team has one more game next Saturday but we will be at disney then. Anyway we got trashed today. It wasnt pretty.

I have halloween bunco tonight. Its going to be fun. I dont usually dress up but I think this year I am. I was hoping to be Malice in Wonderland but they didnt have it around here so I think Im going to be Little Dead Riding Hood.

I'm on my way out the door as soon as dave gets back...going to the grocery store to get some things to take to a football party tonight. Then aubrey will be off to tumbling and the day will get busy!

Oh, Halloween Bunco sounds fun...pictures of you in your costume please!!

We ended up leaving around 9:30 this morning and just got back about an hour ago. We went to Gettysburg, drove around the battlefield, hiked up to Big Round Top, and Little Round Top and it was a beautiful day, but very, very windy there, so it was cool at times. We walked through a cemetary part I don't recall doing before right across from the Visitor's center. We had a nice lunch there, then we went to the Gettysburg Outlets for a bit, nothing exciting...I did buy some fruit teabags at Harry and David and some cookie mix that has Moose Munch in it...I may make them tomorrow..yum....drove back home and had a nice meal at Carrabas...yum...quick trip to the pet store and here I am..........one tired pup. I haven't done a day trip like that in a long time. We had a wonderful day though and I'm glad we did it. Forgot, we stopped at the apple orchard too and got some apples.

mic, i am trying to find a flight in one day and out the next.
the uncle died sept 23 and he was put on ice as there was a waiting list for military burials in arlington. priority goes to the boys coming back now from over seas, retired military goes on waiting lists.

yes, i will be the first to send deena the cold weather we have here.
