Hey, i'm back from my LONG and BORING sorority meeting...i think they get longer every month

WAKE UP FOLKS.......

OCM has asked me to post for her this morning. She may not be around much in the next few days and wants me to tell ya's what is going on.....

Her STBXH has agreed to move out and will leave this Friday. Last night they told the children. Julie and Sammie didn't really understand it but Nico did and he took it pretty hard. She and Lee are supposed to going on a retreat this weekend that her mother has arranged as sort of a last ditch effort to try to save the marriage. She is not looking forward to going and just wants him out of the house so she can get on with her life.

And if all that last night wasn't enough, Her brother Joey called around 6 and told her that thier father had been in a very bad car accident. The hospital in DC had called him and he was on his way and would call her back as soon as he had news. About 9 last night Joey called.......the accident was bad....her dad swerved to miss a lady that had pulled out in front of him, he lost control of his car and crossed the median and hit another vehicle head-on.

The people in the other car were not injured too badly. Sweet's Dad wasn't as lucky...they told Joey that his neck was broken in 3 places in addition to all the cuts and scrapes. He was unable to move any of his limbs as of last night. The doctors say that they don't know if there has been spinal cord damage and won't know until the swelling goes down. At that point they will be able to determine the extent of the damage.

So let's all say a prayer for her and for her Dad and help her get through the next week or so. She IS finding out that she is a lot stronger than she thought she was. But she still needs us to keep her and her family in our thoughts. I'll post more as I get news........

OH MY....thanks for the update Tony...I'll post more later when I get to work, but that is just awful about the accident....never have to ask ANY of us twice for good thoughts, prayers, love, hugs or anything. I'll be thinking of her all day and hoping all is well.

I'm assuming this is her real father and not her step-dad right? Geez, just to put more sorrows on top of those all ready there. Nico will be fine also....it can work out with help, and I know he will understand when he is a little older and can see why his parents split.

hey everyone....watch out for thos bogus emails from paypal!! just got one...went and changed my password and i'm hoping everything is a-ok! turned it into paypal and they confirmed that is was indeed fraud.

pam, i don't have paypal but i have heard of those bogus ones going around.

i have over 1700 emails to catch up on from the last 15 days.

i found a few emails listing my other screen name with a message to me and found one of the testers here last name on a email to me with a bogus message of investing in a company.

think someone has had a worm get into their address book and that is how i got the junk mail.

since it attached to one of yours, it now has some of my addresses.
don't know how to prevent my name going out on bogus emails now.

what would you do?

Pam, I get those emails from ebay and paypal...I always go to my account first, check it all out and make sure all is ok, then send off to them the email and it always comes back as a fraud....pain in the butt for sure...I've learned you never open anything that doesn't sound on the up and up.

Ok, I really do NOT want to be at work today....I've not accomplished a thing this morning and I have plenty to do....so I guess I better get busy....

i think today is the day to get off the computer and unpack the suitcase.



i really dread doing that.
each time i take a trip i tell myself i will be more organized.

this trip was no different than the past ones.

when i was leaving the motherland, i did spend an hour organizing and repacking. after i got back to the room around 1ish that morning from doing another mnsshp, i threw what was left in the drawers in the suitcases.

then on to the darkside.....partially unpacked and when it came time to leave monday evening, threw everything in the suitcases.



now to go thru the 2 suitcases and put everything away.




that will kill a couple of hours for me.

Now off to do dishes and settle down.........
