kept trying to hop back on here this afternoon and kept getting "server busy"...that infuriates me for some reason

mac, hope kitty is ok, that seems odd to take him/her off insulin after being on it so long, good luck and hope kitty improves

my husband could never keep up calling me when I go shopping nor would he get an answer on my part if he was checking my spending... :teeth he is better off in the dark.

ok, it is still stinkin' hot here

going to go watch my soaps for a bit

mac, did you catch Rescue Me last night? I watched a bit of it, then dvr'd the rest to watch later when I'm not so dopey and half asleep. Boy, they like to use certain words on that show quite a bit.. must be cause it's considered a cable channel

deena , yes, she will eat and enjoy disney food and cruise food.

ocm, no, she does not eat, she drinks ice water.......


the vet said she has never encountered this before with a cat or dog.
if the animal has insulin injections and the blood glucose levels out within the first couple of months on it, they can go off it as the body produces it on its own then.

fat cat has been on insulin injections for over 2 years. it astonishes the vet she doesn't need the insulin now, just hte diabetic food.
but then, i take her back in two weeks for blood testing and if the level shoots high, its back on insulin.......i have my fingers crossed....



no epostcards from the girls yet.

i am working tomorrow.
i'll check in during the morning before i leave for work.
then, you have to nominate someone to be teach for the day.

after work i have that appointment with the surgeon.
that will cramp my dising tomorrow.....

Mac--i hope your kitty is all better! Have fun at work tomorrow...be sure to wear your good shoes since it is nekkid day tomorrow.

KS-- I hope you spend your night doing a big NOTHING....everyone needs those from time to time!

Mic--i haven't encountered the server busy for a couple of days...hope i don't either..that is very frustrating!


My garage sale got pushed back to the 24th of june which is dave's bday but he says he doesn't care since we will be done by probably 2pm. My mom said there was no way she would be ready by the 10th so we pushed it back a couple of weeks....i hope i don't have people wanting in since I told them that is when I was having it....oh well.....they will just have to look for it later

My deck dudes are coming tomorrow to put my door in!!! I can't wait to get it all done!

Oh before I go to bed I thought I would share a picture of my favorite clown!! This is Aubrey in her costume for her recital this weekend...I'm still not getting what clowns, and sheep have to do with Peter Pan though! Guess I will get it after I watch the recital! I will try to take some pictures of her tomorrow night as I can't take any in the actual recital.

and how stinkin' cute is that picture!!?? AAhhhhh...she is adorable and look at her smiling. Pam, that is so cute, thanks for sharing. Our little Miss is also doing Peter Pan, I think in 2 weeks. She is the second star from the left..or so she says that is her part.

pam - the pic is soooooo cute. Wasn't able to talk any of my DS's into dance classes - but they will go to see the Nutcracker with me; would be a welcome respite from all sports, all the time.LOL Tell them deck dudes to get it done!

mac - I'd wish you some Universal dust (but, the pixie variety will have to suffice ). Too bad about the dishwasher - assume it's built-in...I gave my portable away a few years ago - seemed to be more work (rinsing & unloading) than it was worth.

mic - I've been getting that server busy business frequently too. How's it feel to be a "real" employee? Did the MIA co-worker ever resurface? (sounds like a soap - I quit watching AMC, they brought back a long-dead charactar Dixie, for the 2nd or 3rd time )

KS--there are a few boys in dance...there is a cousin of one of the kids that come here for daycare who is in dance...he just graduated from high school and he is really really good...i think he wants to be an actor....i think that is a good thing for him...he is really good!

Bob--you will have to post pictures when your basement is all done! Sounds like a fun night but ofcourse I LOVE doing that kind of stuff....i just don't like paying for it

mic--that is to funny about little missy.....are you going to go to her recital?

muffy must have people reading over her shoulder again! She isn't here yet!

ed--what is your next project on your house pending your wife doesn't see a snake and put it up for sale?!

adam--we miss you, come back and play with us soon! Tis' the season to be running around crazy with to much to do and not enough hours in the day to do them!

I think I am going to leave today when the deck dudes cut a whole in my wall......what happens if they cut it to big?!?!?! to nerve racking for me so I will just go do my errands when they start cutting!

Morning #2 friends

I think the world travellers come back this weekend, somewhere I recall it was at least a week long trip for them

Pam, have a Corona, go sit on the deck and let the guys start cutting hopefully if they are door dudes, they know what they are doing. Won't that be cool to have it completed!

Yes, we will go to the recital. I'd prefer Friday evening, but I don't think I'll get home in time to drive over, traffic going that way is a bear on a Friday evening, so it looks like a Saturday performance for us. Just shoots the whole day in the foot. Maybe we will hit their pool afterwards I will also have to see if this production of Peter Pan has lambs Glad to hear also you are allowing yourself some extra time for the big Pam Sale of the summer.

Mac, good luck today at Dr. and sorry about dw and the battery in the car. When it rains it poors, happens here all the time.

KS, no sign of co-worker on this, week #4 of being out. Boss keeps saying "she'll be in next week"......ok, we've been hearing this for the last 4 weeks. Ya know, this must be the only place to work where you don't have to show up and you STILL keep your job I don't think it is a health issue, but personal issues. Plus, she weighs like 88 lbs. so there isn't much to her to cope with stressful things. More drama than I want or need that is for sure. Yes, her life IS like a soap opera. I always tried real hard to boost her self-esteem, but then she kinda got me in a little hot water (remember when I was waa-waaing 'bout that?), so I'm kinda done with her in that respect. I'll work fine with her, but beyond that..phooey on her.

They left me yesterday with an office/warehouse full of men and today for a few hours it will be the same. The new girl is out also on a pre-employment trip. Geez, I gotta learn how this all works...take a job...take off...don't fret it...the job will still be here....

Bob, I bet your basement is way cool.

...great, now I'm hungry for Krispy Kremes. doesn't take much to get me dreaming of doughnuts...yum!

had to feed 2 extra mouths last night (how far can you stretch 4 boneless breasts?), family boo-hooing there's nothing good to eat - off to the grocery store I go - boring!

you're a rather sedate bunch about counting down to WDW but, my 'nanners are starting to get outta control 15 more sleeps for us.

We had Godfather's Pizza for lunch today...the kitchen is a mess with all their tools and such so I just had them deliver it.....i don't get the kind of discount there anymore since I'm not helping her out....oh well...it was still better than cooking today!

Oh looks like the deck dudes are back just in time to wake up all the kids that just fell asleep!
