I would do NYC!!! Way fun. Maybe i'll go to Philly too. I have a few friends there that I could meet up with, and a few friends in NJ that I could go see.

:cheer2: :cool1:

Doesn't it sound fun :woohoo:

TVT, don't you feel relieved now that I've explained why your ears were burning on Saturday.................. ;) :flower3:

Spring seems to be insanely busy for me. Just with kids activities and things. But, I am really going to try to go. I was the one that really wanted to go to Baltimore. I would have really enjoyed that.

Hey momma, watch saying you will "do NYC"....we don't want you all tuckered out and not able to pal around with all of us.............. :goodvibes :flower3:

Don't worry, I'll only do half. I'll have energy left to hang out with you all.

Can I make a request??

Summer is much easier for me, than spring. I didnt realize it, but there are spring sports and mommy and me events at preschool..

Can anyone do early summer?

Spring will leave me out as well. We have birthdays, an anniversary and state testing in spring.

Nothing is carved in stone, we just mentioned maybe in March, due to the weather not being so hot as summer..........and we need to investigate when Easter is, to avoid all that crowd....its all open to discussion and we'll put together some dates...who knows where any of us will be in a year, but its good to start thinking on it. Adam mentioned staying in NJ to conserve money and commuting into the city.........so we are watching everyone's pocketbooks...I have to watch my expenses, so I understand how others feel.

Sorry mac you wouldn't be able to go. Can't you work a couple extra days at school and squirrel the money away in a sock so you could go? I'm gonna start a little "test thread fund" of my own, putting a little bit back here and there so when it comes upon us, I'll have the moola. It really is about the same for everyone as far as expenses, whatever the rooms are and how everyone gets there......it's not even in my back yard, and if gas stays like this, it will cost more to drive than fly pretty soon.. :p

Been to NYC many times myself, but it's always fun and I'd do it again in a minute. In fact, I've been to Baltimore a lot, but had THE best time this weekend just hanging with my friends and seeing their joy in visiting a new place.

Momma, just do half of NYC and maybe when we get there we'll help you out with the other half...... :lmao:

I know my easter schedule and school calendar for next year.

Spring Break here is April 2-6th and Easter is April 8th.

You know I would love to go to Disneyland.

If you two get there first, I wont have anyone left. You'll have done them all. :rotfl2:

dl would fly........never even thought of that one.

never been there either

summer would not work for me just because that is when we go on our family vacation...and next summer we are planning disneyworld...think i would be in a little bit of trouble if we went off then and didn't have a family vacation.

If summer works out for everyone else though then that is great...i will just have to miss it. Hopefully, we can find a time that works with most everyone!

Have flown into NYC via Newark and the only comment I have is that it made my industrial neck of the woods look beautiful...think Tony's ride on Sopranos. Although I'm sure our cabbie took us on the longest route possible into the city, via garmet district & past Madison Square Garden to get to East Side.LOL

Have done some preliminary trip planning for DL, surprised to find lots of cheap places across from main gate.

Anyone go to Atlantic City/Casinos lately?

Hey, I resemble those remarks!!! ;) Yes, the Newark area is one of the industrialized areas. Landfills, refineries and swamps. I live on the left side of the state that still has farms and trees. We would take a train into the city and then grab a cab once there. Who knows, we may even get into the Cash Cab and win some big bucks! :cool1:

I don't know if I would be able to do DL without my kids. I've never been out to the left coast.

I have been to the AC Casinos last March. Still can't hold a candle to Vegas but getting better. They are starting to fix up some more of the city. I normally visit the AC Hilton, Harrahs or Borgata.

Adam

It sounded to me like kids were invited. Was I mistaken? I guess you guys invited spouses and I figured if spouses were invited kids could go too.

Not to step on toes, but I think we were talking just spouses...but I could be mistaken...LOL...or confused...not the first time nor the last for that to happen to me.

Momma, there is enough of NYC for all of us to "do" it...... :lmao:
