What a day, just got done filing middle DS's taxes (slacker!!!).

Real rabbits wear pink, although the one in the pic looks like he's panhandling...brother, have you got a carrot?

Percocets & nearly any narcotic makes me violently ill - figures.

My DH got his schedule for next week & he's working Easter (not even considered a holiday/extra pay). Guess we'll be eating late.

Tomorrow's our opening day of Trout season, I'm bailing to clean. Hope the boys don't bring back any stinky fish.

sweetlovin' - I always respond to that threat with "...gee, we'll really miss you...". Told the war-ing factions years ago to get over it. If I can stand to be in the same room & carry on polite conversation with ex & his tribe, so can my extended family.

Bummer that your Dh is working Easter!!

Sorry your DS didnt file his taxes sooner. It's no fun to do your own, let alone anyone elses.

Yes, I guess lots of people are doing taxes this weekend...so glad that is in my past...

Momma, I think I asked and not sure if you answered and I missed it...but what is Julie's theme for her recital? Does she have her little outfits yet? The little girls always look so stinkin cute..............I bet she is just so into the whole thing.

Pam, isn't Aubrey doing dance also? Is she having a recital? I really understand when you talk baseball about the boys much better than recitals.... but I love hearing about the gals getting all dressed up to dance

KS, sorry about DH....mine worked holidays for years, so it never was a biggie, just sorta got used to it and planned around it. For the first time in many years, we both are home together on weekends....and its nice to go to his and her TV's and take his and her naps........LOL....guess we are used to doing our own thing

Found time at the home computer. Son is not using it for Final Fantasy, Daughter is not using it for IM. It must be my lucky day! We colored Easter eggs tonight and had a ball. We are having a "treasure hunt" instead of a jelly bean trail this year. DS 7 will be the main participant.

Hey Mac, if you are in Baltimore, that means you are only a few hours from me. I have plenty of room for you so "holla back!"

It was your lucky night when you didn't have to share the computer. The treasure hunt sounds way fun. Nico just asked me this year if we could have an easter egg hunt.

Mic - I don't think they have a theme. I have no idea what the costumes look like, but I promise to take and post lots of pictures. I'm so excited and they are so darn cute.

Speaking of meeting up, Adam I don't know what your summer looks like, but I know I am going away in July up north. Maybe we can meet up once I get the dates together. I really wish I coudl get up there next weekend, but with my mom coming here and Nico having a soccer game, I just can't swing it.

it took me 11 hours of driving to get here.

Morning all...a quick hello before I force myself to do some work...it is a lovely sunny morning...but rain is in the forecast........and cooler temps next week, so it will be interesting to see what next weekend brings for our trip....whatever, we'll have fun.

Ok, so I really haven't done anything but play with my kids all day. I have laundry to do and some cleaning, but nah, I would rather play. LOL!

Well, i did actaully get a little done this afternoon. I sent the kids outside and did some work. Now, the kids are eating dinner. I need to make a phone call tonight and after that, I'll get the Easter Baskets together.

I did rent a movie tonight, sicne Lee will be working. But, I may not get to it. It depends on how much I get done and what time it is when i sit down to watch it. It could end up being that I fall asleep during it. That is what usually happens to me.

Just passing by for a bit.........we've had a busy day...

I cleaned the inside of my van, and dh washed the outside...didn't want Pam to go ewwwwwwwwww....what a dumpy van this girl keeps...LOL...it was overdue for a cleaning

I changed sheets, they are in the washer, I washed bathroom rugs, plus all my regular laundry and I've ironed shirts and my blouses....and put away the dried laundry

DS and I then went over to my friends house so he could set up her new computer for her and get the dsl up and running...and stopped at Subway on the way back and go DH a sub.

Whew...I'm tired just typing it....planning on being lazy this evening and doing NOTHING but enjoying the day tomorrow.......

Momma, what movie did you get?

I know Pam, when K did her recital, it was Alice in Wonderland, and I think she was a cat??? and the other one we went to was music through the years, which was much more interesting that Alice........

Actaully, the 29th is DH's 30th. But that was sweet of you to offer.

I'll be up there the weekend of July 14-16th for a confrence. Since I'm dropping the kids off, I'm trying to stay a little longer or leave a little earlier. If I can work it, will you be around then?

Wow, what a day! Went Easter egg hunting this morning, and the kids did rather well! Lots of sugar and pizza for them....just what i need.

Went to the eye doctor today for my week check up.....seems my eyes this week were not as good...20/30, 20/20, and seeing out of both was 20/20. He said my eyes were VERY dry...i hadn't put any eye drops in, because I forgot them here at home. Went and bought some after my appt. MAN, I can't believe how much of a difference eye drops made I wanted so badly to go back and do the test again, because I think that fixed my problem


Went to Trent's baseball game that started at 4pm....they played 1/2 inning and called it due to the fact that they saw some lightening! I think they would have not been so strict on it, but a 14 year old little girl got struck by lightening playing soccer about 30 minutes from there last week....so, with that happening and it being fresh on the mind they didn't want to take any chances....which....we good because i can say that i would have probably been so mad if they didn't call it....they just carry bats around and play in a chain link fence!
So, we went shopping instead....just what my family wanted to do, but i think i am finally ready for easter now!

Anyway, I am going to put my kids to bed and turn in myself..i am sooo tired!

WOW Pam, bummer about the eye exam, but I'm sure it was due to dryness.

yes, the area is beautiful.. i made the hubby take the ghost walk with me.
he hated it and the guide was too scripted. she was not good, i could have done better. maybe i should get a job here.
