Morning...........from what I can see of the house where the fire was, it looks like inside damage...........but oh my, what a ruckus, noise, smoke and flames....we will eventually here details, the kook that lives there talks to my husband when he sees dh outside........... honestly, this man is scary and has always been strange........although once when my oldest was around 10 and had a bicycle accident and was bleeding from a huge cut in his head, (son decided to be a daredevil and ride his bike down a wooded path behind our houses, hit a rock and threw himself off his bike into a huge rock ... rock vs. head......which do you think won???? ) he brought him to the house.....so I always try and think of that as being a good thing and cut him a tad of slack........

Must do a million things before leaving today for little girl's skating birthday party...........yep, JUST watching this one kids....I love to roller skate, but have not done so in years and I ain't cottoning to breaking anything...and that would include my ****............

Sorry Mac but it is cold here too. In the 40's right now and rainy. Had to take DH to the airport this am. I hate driving in the rain on the freeways. The idiots on there seem unaware the road is wet and slippery and still drive really fast. I like to drive fast to but not on wet roads.
Dh is going to be cold in Dallas, its always colder there than it is here.

My house is quiet right now. matthew is at his dads, Michael is at a friends and Travis is too. So its just me and the 2 little ones.

Evan has recently started sleeping in his bed (the little red race car is out of commission now for mom and dad). It was his own idea to move over to that bed and he seems happy about it. Connor is still with David and I but I bet he starts wanting to sleep with Evan sooner than later.

Scary fire Mic! Glad those odd people werent hurt. My grandma had a fire once in her house. It was an electrical fire and those things smell so bad. Funny thing is I was the only one who noticed, My mom and grandma never smelled anything. Lucky for us I kept looking around cause you couldnt see it. It started in the inside of a wall and was buring to the outside of the back of the house. It was hard to find. On the bight side we had lots of hot firemen show up on the sceen!! Wooo Hooo

train came in late and had to wait almost 2 hours for todd.
it was minus 10 when i left this morning and it has warmed up to 5 degrees now. woo hoo, a heat wave.

Pam and the posse are on the prowl tonight!!

We had fun with the kiddies at the roller skating party...it was a riot watching these kids trying to skate....some of them would fall and look all around to see if anyone was watching them....dh and I laughed so much at this one little boy, he was like a bull in a china shop scooting around, but he would pick himself up and roll on....and yes, I did eat a cupcake...I'm 'fessin up...........her cake was really cute too, it was cupcakes arranged to look like a butterfly with different pastel colors on the icing............it was a good idea and I'll file it away in my head for baking at a later date.......... Good grief, I remembered skating when I was a kid, and they do the same silly things, the limbo stick and the hokie pokie........I wanted to strap on the skates and skate really bad, but I've not skated in years and thought I can't afford to get hurt right now......and that would be my luck........

It is pretty cold here too mac, but you got us beat....I 'bout froze tonight in and out of the vans....I was hurry scurrying around

went out with some girlfriends and some guy friends tagged along...we all had a good time and now it is time for me to SLEEP!!! It has been a very long day with tons of running around....seems tomorrow will be a relaxing day after i pick up the kids from my moms!

Morning Everyone

I am going to go out shopping for shorts. Im going with the 3inch inseam. I just need to figure out if I am a size 5 or 7. I was going to buy shorts at VS, but it was 35-40 dollars vrs 17 at kohls, for really the same amount of material. So, I guess I'll do kohls for now and see if the VS shorts go on sale.

Sure the guys just happened to "tag along" Pam!

Im glad you had a good time. It's always fun to get out and let loose.

Frosty morning all....its still chilly in these here parts.......

I think I just totally died when I went to bed last night, I had not slept well the night before with all the rumpus, so I made up for it....felt good to not hear that darn alarm or have to get up...

Momma, Kohl's has cute stuff and for the difference in money, you can do just as well and get more!!! That is better hmmm...3 inch inseam, well, that might cover half of my left butt cheek.........

Today is birthday dinner out for ds. We decided on Japanese style...this restaurant is on the style of the Japanese restaurant in WDW, so it should be good......I need to finish up laundry this morning and piddle around, this whole weekend has been a waste from a constructive viewpoint, but fun for celebrating!! My dryer comes tomorrow, so we have to prepare for that later on also..........

Deena, I don't know if I told you, my eyelets and stuff came from mousememories that I ordered, and they are SO cute.......now if I just had the time to use them............

I will tell him you wished him HB momma, and thanks.............it's actually the 23rd, which is Thursday, but we always do dinner out on a weekend before or after.....this happens to be husband's weekend off, so this is it!!

I'm hoping son likes his gift, the palm pilot and the Corpse Bride DVD....some range of gifting there huh?

I want to order a cake, but he is watching his weight, and on one hand I want to ask "do you want me to order a cake" and then I like it to be a surprise.........hmmm...what to do, what to do......... we would do the cake on his actual birthday.....plus birthday cake is my downfall...love that stuff.......

mic....go ahead and order the cake.......then after it is gone he will just have to get back on track...it is only one time a year he has a bday....but he can watch what he eats the other 364 days! Hope he has a good birthday!

mac--it is cold here too....it as suppose to get down into the negatives last night...i had to go outside to answer my cell phone a couple of times last night and wowzers was it cold...everyone could see me when i came back in i am sure i was bright and all lit up if ya know what i mean!

ocm--i would do kohls too...i was there yesterday and they do have some really cute stuff, but i didn't get to look real close as my kids were being a pain in the butt...so i did what i had to do and left, but i will go back maybe next weekend by myself for the money you will save it is worth it....and besides like you said...when they go on sale maybe you can grab a few!

LOL! Sorry to say it was not me! Sad thing is...i probably went by that gas station yesterday...if i would have only stopped!!!

Dave called me this morning and asked me if i happened to buy a powerball ticket in lincoln yesterday! i think he was wishing too!!!

I will be curious to hear who did win it though
