I thought anyone who had CP could wind up with the shingles later on

Well, I know this was a long time ago, but when my son had CP, he never got shingles.....is that something new that has developed when kids get chicken pox? I just remember my ds coming downstairs (and I think it was over Christmas break) and saying to me "Mommy, mosquitoes have been biting me all night, look at all these bites"....we still laugh about that to this day....

I got called today for a position (temp to hire I hope!!) and I start Monday....and its only 12 miles from my house! I'm hoping this one works out well for me and I like it and they like me!

I don't know deena! I do know that I had cp when I was a baby really really bad and when all the kids here got them I didn't get anything no cp or shingles...and I was soooo glad because I was pg!
Maybe it has to do some with your ammune system too!

My job pervious to this one was temp-to-hire. It was a great way to get to know a place before I made it permanent (granted, once I went permanent, my boss turned into a royal woman-who-rides-a-broom, but that's a different issue altogether.

Thanks for the well wishes....I'm sure I'll need all I can get....LOL Bob.....I hope not to find any woman on brooms when I check in on Monday........if fact, the boss or higher up....I'm still sketchy on exactly what this place services or does....is going to Brazil til next week....figuring it must be business?? So I won't meet him to later next week........I'm really going in here cold.........just knowing its receptionist duties to start out..I can schmooze and play nice, so meeting and greeting isn't an issue for me...my previous retail life has prepared me for ALL KINDS............

and where has our Ed been today? I miss him, he always makes me laugh when I need it
