Evening....I tried to drop by at lunch, but got busy and that was that...I had errands to run at lunch time, so my hour was shot.......my office mate only worked 1/2 day, so I was alone this afternoon and of course the phone kept ringing.....interfering with my stopping by.......... :guilty: but tomorrow may be worse........supposed to be a day jammed with information overload.......so I may not get to say "hi" but I'm here in spirit :flower3:

Not much happening here....

momma....love the outfit
pam....sorry your are :crazy2: and SNOW?????
ed....love, love, love the photo of Pluto and your son...how stinking cute is that????? and the photo of the group, I recognize quite a few...even the guy "behind" the lens........ ;) :teeth:

Adam, I'll use your heater any day......... :love2:

hey miss mic, you sure are a busy gal today......and also probably tomorrow too.

went out to the mall to get junk from the disney store.
this is a very poor excuse for a disney store.........

3/4 of the stuff is at retail price.
1/4 mark downs.

too much kid stuff and no big kid fun stuff there.
did buy the gold mickey antennae for the car, just $3 woo hoo and a blue shiny one cause i live blue.
the pins are in sets of 4 and go for $14.50 which makes it cheap so i bought 2 sets of them. they have mickey, minnie, donald and pluto. sooooo cute.

gonna watch the tube tonight mic?

Just finished up my nightly beauty routine.........hey, a gal has to at least try to stay young looking.... ;) :flower: and gathering up trash, tomorrow is G-day around here....so now I'm off to watch a little TV. Think I will finish watching ER that I dvr'd the other night and have been watching in bits an pieces.

I've been in a Disney Store maybe 3 times since ours closed.........and I've not been impressed any of the the 3 times..........so sad when I remember back to never leaving a shift without coming home with some great deal or great item from TDS.....and it just doesn't seem the same to me with new owners......its just a store now that sell's Disney stuff. It's like the kid who gets lost at WDW and ends up in a utilidor and see's a character walking around carrying its head.......... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yep, tomorrow is a jam session on procedures.........

Mac, you only have 900 posts to go for the big rollover........

I would suggest you start a postin'...................... :earboy2:

Mac - I usually buy at least one new outfit for christmas. Last year, I didnt. But if I am in DC, I have parties on Christmas eve, christmas day, Christmas night and then the day after christmas. Let alone the cousins party and the adult family party that we have thoughout the season. I cant keep wearing the same things every year. Also, if Dh's company has a formal Christmas party, I will go and get a new dress.

gals: do you all buy new outfits for christmas?

gee, i never do.
i must be out of touch.

Sounds like you need to treat yourself to a few new outfits too!

hey guys! I just got home from volleyball....we won :cheer2: and it is my craddy team. Now we play next monday...i kinda wish we would have lost, but oh well....we won!!!!!

mac--about the new outfit...if i find one that i like i buy it...if not i don't! We don't do too much other than a casual family get together so if i get a new outfit depends on if i find anything i like...make sense?

Morning............

Pam, you turned into a slug.................. ;) :teeth: I like it, it's cute

Gotta run....have a good one everyone :moped:

Morning everyone!!!

I test drove the Oddessy, very nice car. I actully had two different machanics tell me that if they were going to buy a minivn, they would buy that one. They both said that minivan they see in the shop the least.

Yes, I think we will begetting a new Odyssey, Probably I will get the loaded version. Any suggestions on options to get or not to get???

If we were to do it again (I know, it's only been a month :teeth: ), we would have gotten the Touring model, probably with everything except the Navigation. The one thing we found out after we brought our Odyssey home is that it's missing one feature that we've always had -- auto headlights (e.g. lights that go on when it's dark out). For some reason, it's only available on the Touring model.

bob, don't you have the running lights on it?

my sienna does, thought all did.

well, off to school.....working all week

have to find a way to cover my 2006 trip to the mother land.

catch you when the bell rings. :teacher:

OMG! My last car had hedlights that turned off by themselves. When I bought my new car and it didnt, I went to open the door and my car would beep at me. I am used to it now, but it use to annoy the heck out of me.

I guess I would take the beeping over letting me leave my lights on, but i would prefer the lights turning off by themselves.

I hve fiugured my dates out for all the vcations next year. Although, this excludes going to the beach with my mom and aunt and any trips to DC.

Working from the end of year up, we are going to the Philippines the 16th of Dec 06 to the 4th of Jan 07. Then, at least a week, maybe 10 days in Oct to disney, the begining of Oct. Then, hopefully for Mothers Day back to disney. Then, in Jan to disney for my bday. I am hoping to take a few of these trips childless, but we'll see. :teeth:

The lights do turn off by themselves (15-20 seconds after you close the door), so we just leave the headlights on all the time instead of worrying about turning them on at night.

I don't know if it has daytime running lights -- it probably does, but I'm never in front of the van during the day. :teeth: And since we leave our headlights on all the time now anyways, they act like running lights.

Good morning everyone. Must be the subliminal messages or something but I just got a pre-approved loan from my credit union yesterday to purchase.......you guessed it......a mini-van! My poor old Chevy Astro van is about ready to kick the bucket and I need something new to transfer the kiddies and DJ equipment around. I went with the Astro because it had exceptional clearance height through the rear door. That works well for the DJ equipment. The setback was I had to remove the seats in order to do that. I'll be looking for a van with those nifty "stow and go" seats or something similar.

The wedding last night was another story. My nephew impressed me more than ever with the way he acted last night. For some reason his bride acted just the opposite. I don't know if she was just being a drama queen or if she was on something. First, my nephew had HER ring but guess who forgot to bring my nephew's ring? He had to go back home to get it himself.

Next, the mayor was late. He is a personal friend so I gave him a courtesy call and he said he'd be right down. When he got there, he asked bridezilla for the marriage license. She said she didn't have time that day to pick it up from town hall. (Give me a freakin break already) So I aked the mayor if he could do me another favor and go over to town hall (right next door) to see if he could find the license in the clerks office. He did and returned with it. While he was gone, I took the bride and groom aside and asked them while looking directly into their eyes if they were indeed READY to get married because it didn't seem like it to me.

Well, they got married but during the simple ceremony the drama queen had to appear again. After the mayor asked "do you bridezilla, take this man to be yadda yadda yadda" she answered "I will.....but we're still going to argue!" Now where the hell did that come from? My nephew had 6 of his friends there and the plan was to go out to dinner with them. My wife and I had planned to prepay their dinner and then rent them a hotel room near the restaurant. We were going to have the server bring the key and directions to the hotel instead of a bill. My DW and I planned to have a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses, some candles, some snacks and some refreshments in the room when they arrived.

Bridezilla kinda took everything out of me and DW. We declined the dinner because we didn't want to be around her. We felt it was best if it were just them and their same age friends. We excused ourselves by saying we had little ones to take care of. I had a blank wedding card out in the car so I quickly went outside, filled it out, threw a few hundred bucks into it and had DW give it to my nephew. I wished my nephew all the luck in the world and we went home. My nephew did everything he could to remain strong despite all that happened and for that I was very impressed.

To top off the evening, I got a call from the library where they got married. One of the mothers, whose son I coached last year, works there and told me that the happy couple left.......insert guesses here........their wedding license copy on a table. It's at the front desk. I'm tempted to pick it up today and mail it to them with a package of condoms with a little note that says USE THESE PLEASE! Anyway, that's how my night went.

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Sorry for being so long winded.

Wow Adam I hope she isnt like that all time. Your poor nephew. Having 4 boys I am haunted by visions of my sons bringing home something like this-ACK! I hope not.
But you have a great sense of humor....those 2 pictures cracked me up.

Hi guys...a quick drive-by this morning.....

Oh Adam, I know how frustrated you must have been, but HONESTLY, that story is funny to me reading it.......bridezilla :rotfl2: ....you ought to nominate her for that show on TV....how sad though, really.......marriage to me is something you have to think of long and hard before jumping into....let me tell you, I'm not one to take those vows with a grain of salt. I think that is the problem with kids today getting married, its to easy to get out of it. Not to say that divorce sometimes isn't inevitable, BUT....you gotta work at the whole thing or it ain't gonna work.............done preaching :rotfl: edited to add: Deena got a winner second time around..... :cloud9:

Glad you got all those trips lined up momma.............I can't make plan one here til I see what is going on with dh and I both with working........but I know we will be going someplace, sometime next year :flower:

OCM -- It looks like we're all scheduled for 2006 now too, at least up through the summer. :teeth: Thankfully, with my new job came 4 weeks vacation, so we can finally do some real vacations. I've got my guys golf trip in Feb to FL, we're going to WDW for Ryan's 1st birthday in May and a week in the Outer Banks in June with my whole family (parents, siblings and kids).
