Ok, I have my shopping cart done, but i cant seem to press checkout. I hate when I grow a conscience.

...granted, it's not like a 5 year old cares -- as long as the chicken nuggets aren't too hot.

Hi everyone. Just got back from a football booster club meeting. The place we meet at is a banquet hall with a few rooms and I left my sons name with the manager awhile ago to see if they need some help in the kitchen (remember, my DS is a sophomore in highschool majoring in culinary).

The manager asked if he could be there this Saturday for a wedding that is taking place. I told him my son would be thrilled. (he's been begging me for him to get a job but I wanted to make sure his grades were up to par) He has to have at least 3 months kitchen experience by the end of his senior year so with this start, he should have 2 years experience.

He has been very excited telling me what he did in culinary each day and I feel these people will be impressed when they see what he could do. (He makes one mean onion soup as well as many other dishes) I told him that he will probably be washing his fair share of pots and pans because that's where you start but the manager told me they were going to start him on prep work. He has been doing that in school for the first part of this year so I am sure they will like what they see.

That's the beauty of it all Mac, it's within walking distance of our house and he can take a different bus home from school (that will drop him off closer to the place) if he's needed to work on weekdays.

As far as editing goes, I try to be a perfectionist if I catch my own mistake. It bugs me if I see it and just let it slide.

My weekend plans btw are: I get my hair done again tomorrow and I think I am going to go even darker! Trying to go back to my natural color Then I have a show sat. afternoon. While Dave is going to take Noah(if he is feeling better) to the Husker football game on Sat. Then my aunt is turning 50 so my uncle is having a suprise b-day party for her. Sun. I think I am going to help my sister pick out paint for her new addition they built on their house...she says she is tired of white and wants color but the thing is...she is blah and don't like the good colors so it will be interesting We do not have the same taste at all so i have a feeling this will be a wasted trip but time will tell! That is my weekend in a nutshell.....who's next?
