all of us are waiting for three trip reports...........

ocm
deena, more detail on the next one
mic

just sitting here chillin and waiting to read all about it...

Ok..I missed my flight so I got there last. But I did get my hair and nails done, so at least I was minorly presentable.

I met them at Beaches and Cream where Deena was kind enough to share half her food with me. Then..we went back to the room, checked in, and went to bed.

The next day we did MGM (I think) in the morning. We rode TOT, Aerosmith, Muppets, and I watched Beauty and the Beast. We ate at Mama Melrose for lunch, and we all shared food. Then we went to Le Cellier for dinner.

The next day we went to MK (I think). We rode Buzz, Space Mountain, HM, TTA, Astro Orbiter, and ate at Tonys for lunch, then Pirates. Then we went to Yachtmans for dinner.

The next day we went to Epcot (I think). We did test track, mexico, then split up for lunch. I went to France cafe..Deena went to the French Pastry, and Mic went to England for Fish and Chips. Then we went to Ohanas for dinner.

Then the next day we went to Downtown Disney. We shopped then we had lunch at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. After, we sat and chatted until we had to take Deena to the airport  Then we went and grabbed some food at Downtown Disney. Went back and went to bed.

The next day Mic and I left for the airport.

It was a lot of fun and I wouldnt trade my roomates for the world. :flower:

LOL!!! I cant remember. The days seem to be running together in my head. But I think that was the outline of the trip. My camera is HUGE, so I never had it. But I think someone took a really cute pic of Mic...the only problem is, I was in it. :rotfl2:

Come to think of it..out of the three of us, I think only Mic took pictures. Deena might have taken a few, I dont remember. To be honest, I am working on very little sleep..but I didnt want to keep you waiting. So, I tried. Hopefully the others will jump in if I am wrong about any of these.

you are doing fine ocm, i am so happy to have a trip report.

how was the food?
the places i listed before, did you like the food there?
service okay?

i have time to change some of mine i think. i added an 11th place today when i got home from work, garden grill for lunch.
lunch there used to be at noon to 3:30.
now it is 11 to 3

ocm, how did you miss your plane??

did you have to sit at the airport for the next flight?

Airtran's rule is you can fly standby anytime on the day your flight leaves. So, I was suppose to leave at 5:30pm, but Atlanta has major traffic and Lee couldnt leave until 4pm. So, I missed it, but I got on the 6:30 flight with no charge. And I think I sat in the airport a total of 15 minutes. Altanta airport also is huge so there were a ton of people that had to get through security.

I can tell you a funny story. I went and bought a pair of shorts because I couldnt find my white shorts. So, I threw them on before i ran out the door. Needless to say, they were WAY too big. So, I had to take the belt off to get through security and I am trying to keep my pants on me as I am walking through the security check point. Then, they told me to bend over and take my shoes off. I think the secuirty people were laughing their butts off at me.

If you go to Yachtmans ask for OSCAR. We had Linda, and she really should have been working for the haunted mansion. She was AWEFUL!!!

I loved our waiter at Tonys and Mama Melrose was ok and the waiter at Ohanas was a bit rushed. The French guy was young, but he had the prettiest eyes!! The guy at Le Celleir was wonderful (sadly it was his last night) and the waitress at Wolfgang Pucks was fine.

The food was excellent, but the portions are HUGE!!! I gained three pounds this trip because I ate all the time. I really think..the best way to do the dinning plan woudl be to have one person listed on the room. For example, I would put the room just in my name and add the dinning plan. Then, just share with Lee. The only time they wouldnt let you share is at a buffet, but that is ok..I dont go to those very often anyway.

mac, momma's trip report is pretty accurate...I think :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I will tell you about the food we ate, but I probably won't be around much til the weekend, back to work for me tomorrow and I took a nap earlier and now I have a ton to do before bedtime and starting tomorrow all over again....

I will say this, with the dining plan.......be prepared to eat your way around the World.........then explode..........I've never had so much food in my whole life on a consecutive daily basis.......I'm actually glad to NOT be eating much today......I've been stuffed over and above normalcy. Like I said, give me time til I get to have a free day and I'll tell you what we had. I can tell ya, one of the gals figured it up, and for the 9 of us, we probably rang up $2000 in eats and tips for the 5 nights. My favorite was the Gakagori (sp?) ice in Japan at Epcot....... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: oh, I paid for that though........ :earboy2:

My roommates were pretty darn cool and again, I had an awesome time with everyone.......I would do it again if I could

Why do I keep hearing this really strong boston accent while Im reading? lol

The butcher at Yachtsman though was hilarious. He kept posing for our pics, peeking through meat that was hanging on the wall and posing with some knives that he uses. He was definatlely the highlight of the meal there. The food was good and the service sucked.

Food at Le Cellier was very good and the service was even better. We had the best time there.

Ohana was pretty good but we didnt get seated til after Wishes. Our waiter forgot us a couple of times but atleast seemed sorry about it. The new potatoes they serve there are sooooo good.

Wolfgang Pucks was very good. Its probably not a place I would have gone with my family but we might now.

We almost ate at Teppanyaki but the tables only seat 8 and we had 9.

One amusing part of the trip was to see what Kimball (zurgswife) would lose. She was always losing her cc, or some other cards. She kept trying to take our pic while riding BTMRR but forgot to take her lens cap off. And she forgot to bring most of her clothes with her. We were just happy she didnt lose us.

Is anyone of you reading this surprised that it was momma who missed her flight? :rotfl: :rotfl: :earboy2:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

left the lens cap on the camera......

i think

Yes she has a very strong one. No R's at all, lol. I called her from the room when I got to it (since my ride missed her plane I got on ME) and she told me they were "pahking" the plane. I thought she hadnt even left yet since they were "packing" the plane :confused3
She does not care for my use of the word fixin. However here in Texas its a required part of the vocabulary.

well, i always ask the boys are they fixing to go yet and usually one will be dragging behind.

that type of fixing??
thats the only way we know it here.

hey, do you do you shopping or trading at the store?
we trade at some of them

See, I told you these rommates of mine were the best part of the trip....every day we got up "fixin' to do the packs"........... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh, wait til you hear about my 3 cheeseburgers............. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

its been some time since i talked to ocm so you are probably correct.

i am sure deena has an accent.

pam sounds like me just midwest terms thrown in there at times.

mic sounds like a young teen

never heard deena before, sure she has a drawl

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........the packs............
no jokes on the fixings..........thats a real word

I just thought of something..............on the October trip, Ed and Momma will not have to have a translater........ :rotfl2: :rotfl2: they will understand each other completely!!! :goodvibes

Mac, stop eating now so you will have room saved up for all you will be eating on your trip.................
