Morning......hey Momma, maybe if I run around the Christmas tree 50 times it will work off that humongous dessert I ate... but it was good and worth every bite.......

Cold here this morning, but I'm going downstairs to have some tea and get busy today...need to get all my mailable gifts ready to go for the first of the week.......wow, the holiday is almost here....just think, in 2 weeks it will be here and we will be saying where did the season get to......it will be all over.

Will check in off and on today, this is always my little time-out from whatever, to sit here and chat a little bit.........

Morning all!

I am in the process of getting ready for my trek to Lincoln. I decided to finish my x-mas shopping and in order to finish it i can't have the kids there.....so Aubrey is going to have to wait for her new glasses. I figured as long as she has some she can see with now what is a couple of weeks? She used them for the past year....2 more weeks isn't going to matter much!

I did some research last night! Got some things to share!

Going to be a busy day here! After I get home from X-mas shopping We are going to a hockey game tonight!

just came back from the post office.

i mailed out two things for my secret santa. one of them is just an envelope.
it should arrive within 5 days so that would make it next week.

the reason i sent it out today is i will not be back until friday evening as i will be out of town. then on that next day saturday dec. 17, i have to leave early in the morning to help son move. i have to rent a truck and be at his place around 8 that morning. this was the only day i could do my mailings as i am leaving at 5 am monday.

so to the person that i sent to, please do not post about your gift until pam gives the ok to do so.......i think she said mail out was dec 10 (today)

looks like the tree won't be done today after all.....

son left for work at 11:30 and he just called. he left his lunch in the fridge.

so stop what i am doing, and run it out to the mall.
yikes, i never go to the mall on a saturday especially at christmas time.....what was that kid thinking????

this will take at least an hour out of my day. and i have to wrap up things for my mom and dad yet today to take to them.

sunday is a very busy day. i do church in the morning and again at evening service. and tomorrow i was going to pack my clothes and cook for the family and freeze dinners for them......

Had to get 2 new tires for the suburban. Merry Christmas to me Came home to pick up matthew and now we are going out to do some christmas shopping.
My SS will go out Monday. I was taking it today to the PO but the tire place held my car hostage to long.

Oh Deena, getting new shoes for the vehicles is always pricey..........blech....feeling your pain there my friend....but think about tooling around on those new skins............woohoo.......

Have my tree almost finished........went to put the lights on and couldn't find them and started thing wth??? then I really started thinking and began to realize I may have thrown them out last year cause they wouldn't all stay lighted........so like mac, had to take time to get in car and go buy lights. I didn't go far, just to the drugstore up the street.....managed to find more than lights..... but it saved me a trip to town. Guess I will go back and finish up the last bit of tree trimming.....run the vacumm and I have to wrap tonight........need to get those going to the post (place from he ll) office ready and packed up.......well, bigger box to kids will go UPS (helping David to keep getting a paycheck ) cause its cheaper.

i am so proud of myself that i shopped for the SS/KK early.....and even got it out..but then, not sure of the mailing date for sure. we talked about the 10th and we talked about the 15th. i am so confused and pam is out shopping again. she would set me straight.
