what a nice day here and relief from the heat.
saturday will be warm and sunday back to 90.

what do i care, the hubby leaves sunday morning and about five minutes after he walks out the door, ac will magically come on.....

I did talk to her but they were having to drive to Austin to pick a cousin flying in there. She said maybe for dinner but david doesnt get home til usually 8 or 9 so I dont think that is gonna work either.
Looks like we will just have to wait til Sept to meet up.

Mac, you must live a sequestered life, you don't know who Blue's Clue's is?

Blue is a very nice little girl puppy, and she will get clues and teach ya stuff too.....she had a very nice friend, Steve, who moved on to better things aw: and his cousin Joe became Blue's friend. They have other cool friends too, Mailbox, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper and their kid Paprika, and a host of others. The other dog is Magenta...I think.......I've not watched it in quite sometime..........cute, cute show and teaches without the kids really knowing it.

Ooppsss, guess I was supposed to raise my hand before speaking.....ok, raising my hand and wiggling my fingers.

Still hot here, you are lucky mac. We had the brewings of a storm, lots of noise, it got dark and windy, but nothing falling from the sky.

well, it is nice today but sunday will start to sting.....but what do i care?
hubby going on his 7 day bike ride and i will turn on the ac 5 minutes once he is out the door..........


the 5 day forecast said hot, 92, and humid m-w next week.
timing couldn't be any better....

Mac....LOL...I'd rather lay in the tanning bed for 20 minutes where it is air conditoned that spend the whole afternoon out in the backyard sweating to death............

My favorite mode of tanning though is sitting on the beach in a beach chair by the water's edge.........that ain't happening around here, so I'll hit the bed...........

I needed to send our flight itinerary in Oct. to my son, so I'm looking at it and they changed the times, just by a matter of minutes, but I see one of my flights is showing no seating assignment (which I HAD picked) so I call them........first off, I think my call was diverted to another city/country....New Delhi India, so I hang up cause I can't understand them...and start over...get a person I can understand and she says she will have to straighten it all out and then transfer me to electronic ticketing for new stuff to be emailed to meand "yes, they will know why you are being transferred"...yeah right lady...they ask for Confirmation # and they "can't find it"...so they go by last name and find it.............. Ok, I've never gone through all this before because they changed not the flight #'s or whatever, just the landing times............well, I get my itinerary in email but no dh........so once again I call and once again I'm sent to India...but I did get both the itineraries now. It's enough to drive you crazy.

about the air, i just received an email that flights are coming down in price this fall, not many flying.

and spirit sends me an email that gives me 24 hours to book a flight for $29 each way.


geez..............now i get it but the flight and date i need has increased in price. so it is for selective flights. ......whew.....

the cute thing is....when i was pregnant with noah trent wanted to name him paprika up until he came home from the hospital...then he just wanted to send him back!

mac--i believe there is a cat too....not sure what the name of it is though! it is a cute show until you watch it over and over and over and over and over. Look at universal at the nick jr. place i bet you see blue along with dora the explorer and all of their friends. I was kinda bummed that we didn't get there this trip for aubrey's sack because we watch nick jr. all the time but not enough time!

pam, i started using spirit airlines back in 2001. i loved their program.

they never cancel a flight or reschedule due to low occupancy. they only cancel if they have mechanical problems and then it is just a delay if need be.
when i flew the second time in 2001, the plane held 300 passengers but only had 21 booked on it. it still flew on time and that was great.

this past june 25, spirit changed its policy on vouchers. it used to be that if the fare dropped, you called spirit and were issued a voucher for the difference. as of 6/25 now, you have to pay a $40 service fee first, then get a voucher for the difference. thats why i quit ata,american and united airlines due to that fee assesment.

i had to book, couldn't take the chance of not having a seat when i wanted to go. i booked my rooms and went by those dates.





ps.....maybe if you got another dog, you could name it paprika....
