signing on the dotted line is very stressful, whether it is something for yourself or to co-sign..............thankfully, I helped #2 get his car, and after working for a bit, he opened an account at my credit union, refinanced the car (which was a GOOD thing, better interest rate, less years to pay off and just BETTER) and got the loan in his name outright. For that I'm thankful. I did not mind helping him, but I feel it is better to have his possession in his name and plus he is building his credit on it.

yeah, I have a load still in the dryer too...I might go get, I might not...

and mac, signing on the dotted line is not unlike pushing the "buy now" button online when purchasing one's airline tickets..............

oh, what kind of car did he pick out??

well, the interest rate for the new toyota corolla was 9.4 interest rate.
with me co signing i got a 1.9 interest rate........big difference in the monthly payments. he took out a 4 year note. i highly doubt he will get an interest rate lower than 1.9 !!!!!

yes, i am fretful.............i made him call his car ins agent and add full coverage..........he better not miss a payment. as long as he lives at home he will make payments, but once he moves out, i will worry.

he passed the test this morning and now certified in all states so he is hired. he starts in the call center on friday now and will be eligible to do overtime.


i have my fingers crossed all goes well and he doesn't die soon or at least until the car is paid off. aren't i awful..........
i made him promise he will live another four years......he said he would just for me.
