and can I add a vent here....everytime I EVER add a comment about an airlines on the transportation board....IT IS JUST MY OWN FREAKING OPINION....someone comes on there and makes a big dam to-do about it...which makes me more mad................grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh....I wish on the Dis we could really say what we mean sometimes

LOL mic are your 4 them or against them?? I usually fly them because they are direct from Houston and almost everyone has a layover--those I can live without.

LOL Deena, it isn't that I'm against SW....I've flown them when the price is right, it is more I don't like their boarding policies...and I state that when the subject comes up in a thread....in a NICE way I think, and then a SW groupie comes around and starts saying that any opinion that differs from their opinion is wrong and I shouldn't feel the way I do and yada, yada, yada....it just irritates me that an opinion can't be given without someone going to extremes to say I'm right, you're wrong............... I even state, would I fly them again, sure, if need be and price is right, but I look to other airlines first....sheesh...its just my opinion...if SW works for you, go for it...doesn't mean everyone agrees with their policies. And for that matter, I've flown lots of different airlines and you can find something to quibble about with every last one of them...I've had good flights and bad flights with them all.

i just checked out that thread and all i got to say is they are stupid and mic, are you that bored to venture your intelligence to numskulls???




and, i am still seeking cheap tickets..........

i would never fly SW.
the airport they use is midway out of chgo. this airport is an hour and a half for me one way to go.
parking is crazy there.
sw herds people in like cattle.
sw pr stinks.
and that is what i have to say about that.

LOL well I did post on it. Nothing scathing though. We fly SWA almost every trip. They are direct for us when many others are not ( I hate layovers) and they are usually the cheapest for us as well. Plus we fly out of Hobby which is only about 20 minutes from my house---Bush IAH is an hour away. I dont like having to fight for seats together though. Im such a momma hen I even want the older ones to be close to us and they certainly are old enough to sit without mommy. Luckily we can still preboard. The older ones cant preboard with us but I save them a seat.

such a long day here.

dh went to work at 6:30 and still not home.
one son at work, which i have to pick up by 7
another son went paintballing and will be starved when he gets home.
of course the kid he went with will want to eat here also
another son at work and staying over at a friend's house tonight. rats, he is the good one of my three.

so i have been attempting to clean this dump today. only about half way done. i keep getting distracted.

i called my mom and said, hubby is going to be unhappy when he gets home from work, he thinks the house will be all **** and span and tidy.......

mom said, put the ironing board up in the kitchen and when he gets home say, i've had this ironing board up all day long and haven't been able to tackle the rest of the house, sorry.

i just might try that one.

Evening friends...we had a great evening out, TGIFriday's for dinner and then to the movies...Pacifier was cute, not anything spectacular, but a cute family type movie....I was very good for dinner, had French Onion soup and a salad............I know momma, BLECH........

Yes, I should know better than put my 2 cents and feelings into another thread, but once in awhile, I figure I an opinion and its worth those 2 cents...guess others don't. Like I said, if it works for you fine, but for me, I will look elsewhere to get from point A to point B....mac, I would never get on you about your windy whining..... I just like getting on your case about looking for the perfect fare...............now, can I share with you the letter I got from unemployment office today???? .....actually I did get a letter and I am p.o'd about it

SOOOOOOOOOOOO.....good advise from your mom mac, we mom's are full of it aren't we....and I know, our younger friends on the thread are not familiar with an iron or an ironing board...........so sad....

Hey gang! Just got home and read through all the pages! Gee, when i go away you all decide to get chatty!

Anyway, good news--my all of my kids are cavity free for 6 more months. Trent went and ordered more glasses. Shopped alot. The kids made out well AGAIN! lol that is how it always goes in my household! No tumbling today--had to be at the dentist at the same time so we went with the more important one--aubrey wasn't to happy about it though!

ocm--remember how i was saying the easter bunny don't make it to our malls? I was wrong--he was there today and aubrey wanted to go say hi to him sooo bad so we go over there and she waves at him he comes over to shake her hand and she freaks out---wouldn't even blow him a kiss--it was pretty funny!

mic--i am glad you had fun tonight! Isn't it always fun to have a night out!!!

mac--that post was very funny of the guy with beer goggles on!!! and--what is an iron?????

deena--hope you have fun tonight and come out as the big winner at the end!

ed--i am so glad you got your ticket! Now we only need to get about 8 more tickets and join ya!

Sorry Aubrey freaked with the Easter Bunny, that is a cute story!! I always thought the Easter bunny was male, but the one at our mall always appears to be a female...maybe she is Mrs. Easter Bunny and helping out....you know men, can never be where they are supposed to be....LOL...

Kild better have a note from his Mom when he returns, or mac will make him sit in the corner....
