gee Pam, why would you expect that these parents think you know ANYTHING about training or raising kids......................that would um.............make sense................ and to most parents today, they seem to think they are the know-alls, be-alls of child raising........................

you know i have a parent that won't do anything i suggest unless i make it sound like it is her idea!
like example: when her dd was ready to switch from formula to regular milk i told her that i would put 1/2 formula and 1/2 whole milk together that way they don't get the whole milk and get constipated. well guess what--she insisted on switching cold turkey and we did that and low and behold--her daughter got constipated--i looked at her and said--you know sometimes i do know what i am talking about. Ever since then she has been better but now i think she is going to flip when i tell her that she needs to start bringing pull-ups because i don't have to clean up pee and change clothes 3 times a day!
Anyway, enough of the venting--lets get to the fun!!!
