Morning everyone........brrrrrrr....still chilly here, but at least it is NOT snowing....yeah...Ed, are you dug out yet???

OCM, enjoy your workout...I think we always feel "huge" after the weekends, eating a little too much junk...I did eat some junk yesterday, but mostly out of boredom I think....back on track today.......

Not much special planned, but always have plenty I can do...cleaning being my least favorite...dh is out cleaning up snow...the wind blew so hard snow is covering the sidewalk again. DS got out just fine for work this morning, so all is good...

Nice sunrise, but we are missing our breakfast, is Adam buried in a snowdrift somewhere??? I hope not....

No comments on football, I don't like it much....but that is good that New England made it. DS who calls to rag on his Dad all the time (DS is a Steelers fan), when the Steelers win.....well, no ringy dingy from him last night....LOL

Not a big fan of football either so it really doesn't matter to me who wins! To be honest i don't even watch football unless dh has it on and i am in the same room.

Nothing much going on here today! Just recovering from the to short of a weekend!

The shopping was okay--mostly we bought the NEEDS! The kids did get a few Wants though--it was a quick trip so didn't look around much for the WANTS!! lol--i like doing that stuff when i am by myself and have no one to ask if i am ready to go yet--as i tend to have to look at everything before i decide and i usually go back to the first thing i look at--drive dave nuts !

I do believe the little Pam's/Dave's went with them on Sunday...Saturday was the girls day out....see I keep up on current events around here...

Oh Pam, we are kindred spirits, drives my dh batty too....I will buy something at a great price, then look for it in every other store I'm in to be POSITIVE I got the best buy....LOL He will say, "you already bought the dam thing, why are you looking at it...." and my reply "because........" I do agree, when I have serious "I just want to browse" type of shopping, I go ALONE, it is the only way to go, then I can take as long as I want, or be quick or walk around the same aisles 5 times trying to decide, or go to 10 different stores....no one saying "are you done yet, I'm hungry, lets get going"....I always tell dh he hinders me when I have serious stuff to get done...

I just talked to my girlfriend form philly..only she isnt there anymore she moved to St Louis!!!

She and I have mirror lives..she got 3 kids oldest is a DS and the other two are DD...on and on. I missed her so much I am so glad I called her.

Now I just have to call Mic and I will have talked to all my friends in a week. I love that we have all gotten that much closer!!!

Isn't it fun to catch up with old friends??? I still have 2 gals I went to high school with that I keep in touch with...one is in OK and the other in Oregon, so we are quite spread out...but it is always great to hear from them via email or snail mail.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....lets make an appointment to gab, I mean chat on the land line....

mic: how wonderful to be able to stay in touch with high school mates.

when i left town, i left town. have very few contacts with the past mates in high school except one. high school was a horrible time in my life.


looks like its just we girls here this afternoon.
