i really get into the american idol show.

yea, i thought, that lady that sold her wedding rings was pathetic, a real drama queen.......who in the world would pawn their wedding ring for
$200 only............and when she said singing and making it on american idol is the most important thing in her life.....hello....what about hubby.....and their kid??? give me a break........

i love the show but am tired to the crying...hugging.......sister acts.
did you get a load of toni braxton's 18 year old cousin.........pathetic.

I dont watch AI but the couple of times I flipped past it they had the worst singers. I think they try for those so Simon can be mean to them and then just fill in a few good ones to make it to the finals.

OCM--sorry my comp froze up yesterday and then Connor was terrorizing the house so I was unable to get back on soon. Congrats on the weight loss. I really think that since you work out so much a lot of muscle builds up so while you arent losing you are getting the good stuff and making the bad stuff go away.

4gb: the lime green tag, when did you get that one? its a kewl one. when i went last oct to dw, i wore my lime green ribbon and no one noticed. didn't hook up with any other dis er and was hoping to link up with others.
maybe next trip it will be different, maybe i should tint my hair lime green..

it is cold here and i have to leave soon to take my cat to the vet. she hasn't been herself since yesterday.

Well, looks like when the conversation starts to lag....LOL...with us????????? we can all talk about American Idol, as it seems we all watched some of it last night. I finally quit with about 15 minutes left, all that caterwallowing that some people claim is their "voice" that will lead them stardom finally got to me...I so agree about pawn your rings lady, she said that was so important to her....not dh or dd.... Toni Braxton's cousin, yeah, if he could sing, she would have given him a break by now....

So, my plans are shelved for a bit today, it is SNOWING HERE! I was getting dressed and looked out the window and said what the heck...supposed to be showers, but it looks like a bit more than that right now, so I'm staying put. Maybe by lunchtime it will have stopped and I can go. I just saw on the weather channel that we are slated for heavy snow on Saturday blech

yes, snow happens.......was going to say another four letter word that started with s....

i got 12 inches last week, then 4 more and last night received 3".......
it is cold windy but warmer here today.......due to get heavy snow on friday night.......brrrrrrr......i have had enough already, but good to hear some of my dear friends are now enjoying the fun i have had......lol

taking my cat to the vet at 11:15, cross your fingers for my kitty...
i give her insulin injections twice a day now but think its not going to save her. hoping i am wrong.

american idol is on for an hour tonight. did anyone read the set up of the program for this season. i did, its different this year. males will sing on one night. females on a different night.........three celebrity judges that i can remember for the season. mark mcgrath, gene simmons, kenny loggins and don't know if any more will be there.

did you see the two blonde fat sisters talking in the first part of the show. one was crying and saying simon said we were fat.....boo hoo....the other sister looked at her and said, that's because we are fat.....

The only time I have met up with many disers was at Dis Con or at the beginning of Dec when many of us migrate to FL. I did meet Angiebelle by wearing my ribbon and button and I met a couple of lurkers to the boards that talked to me after they noticed my button.

did i ever tell the story when david got stuck in the seat belt in the car and couldn't get out........i was at the doctors office and dh/sh was taking care of the kids.......they went for a drive and when they got back home davids belt jammed and wouldn't release.......two hours later i got home and cut him out of that stupid seat belt.

Okay now i know what you meant by lime green--I thought since my yaya tag was lime green that is what you were asking about. Not long after I joined the Dis there was a thread about the lime green ribbons and that tag is part of my post.

My other tag about how the boys smell was from a thread about hygene habits of teenagers, lol.

mac--that better not happen!!! If they can get home they can get their kids!!! I only have one mom that commutes and she lives 45 min. away from here--other than that i am 2-5 minutes away from the rest of the parents! Stop lights aren't a problem in my town as we only have 7 in my whole town and 6 of them are on central ave--which is the main street that all the business are on

yea, can you imagine leaving a kid in the back seat of a car stuck in a seat belt.....................it wasn't i that slept on the couch that night!!

i got the kid out, took a pair of scissors and it was all over in two minutes. geez, you'd think the daddi could have figured out that one.


then there was the time that todd was at school and stood there by the door waiting for me to come walk him home., second grade and thought he couldn't leave the school unless i was there. kid waited there for 45 minutes after school until they called me to come over for him.

i only live across the street from the grade school...................
he thought he wasn't allowed to cross the street without me. so trained that one. i usually did stand outside on my porch and wave to him when i saw him when the bell rang and then he would come home. that day i was in the basement doing laundry and lost track of the time.
maybe he would still be there this day if i hadn't answered the phone when the school secretary called...............good point to think about.

mac, you had so many ways to "lose" some of your brood, and you always bailed them out.... one could have been left forever thinking how will I cross the street, the other could have become an advertisement of how "not" to get out of seatbelt....

you can keep the sharing to jewels, food and men....NO to snow...I don't care if you share or not with that stuff. It can't quite decide to quit, it is still coming down, but that fine stuff....blech

Pam, sorry about Matt, I thought ocm liked him too....but I'll find a new guy to cheer her up (when I remember who she really liked...lol...are you sure she doesn't like Matt also???)...you girls are confusing me now....stop it.

Deena, that part about being confused, above, comes from having lived through raising my 2 sons....residual effects, confused, dazed, slightly tilted, and lots of gray hairs......... but would do it all over again!!!!!!
