then, for the hubby bought him the set by shelby foote on the narratives of the civil war.
son #1, the ipod
son #2 history channel dvd on a documentary of wars
son #3 new extended version dvd on the lord of the rings.

my favorite gifts i will be getting this year is a cat calender, borders insulated drink thingy and borders coffee. not had this coffee before but know it will be delicious! i peeked, that is how i know these will be my fave gifts this year.

can't decide which is my fave yet as you said list only one. it is a three way tie!!

Hmmm..well, I dont drink coffee, but I hope it is good for you. IF I were shopping for a coffee flavor..I wouldnt know what to get.LOL! Mac - sometimes it is good to peek. I am glad you are excited about them.

Good morning everyone. I hope this day finds you all...I mean y'all in good health and spirit.

I guess I'm looking most forward to giving my 6 yo DS a Transformer that he asked for in a letter to Santa. I'm also looking forward to giving him the letter back with a response from Santa. All of this, of course, dressed as Santa! HO HO HO!!!

The other gift I look forward to giving is (and I cannot get The Christmas Story movie out of my head) my 15 yo DS his brand new Tipman Paintball gun and accessories. (from the movie, "You don't want that kid....you'll shoot your eye out!!!)

And who could forget this scene in the movie...

OK, time to eat.

big dude.... it all looks yummy...........i'll start with the coffee.





i only drink the black regular old mud tasting type of coffee. no add ons, no sugar, cream, or flavors......my mom started me on coffee when i was about 11.......coffee is addicting.....does this mean i am an addict?

Adam, Christmas Story is a family favortite around here...LOL...we own it!!! Scut Farkas, who can forget him??? LOL or the decoder ring......or the lamp....or the mother of all words.....

hmmm...favorite gifts..that is easy for me...something I received from a friend was wonderful...like mac, I had to peak....its too exciting to ask me to wait....for giving....well, anything I'm giving my grandkids excites me...I try and get things that I know they love...dancing Elmo for the baby...it is adorable...for my big kids, oldest son gets lots of Red Sox stuff, he counts on mom for that...so he will like it all....dil...she gets a little of everything from personal to useful tlhings, she is easy and loves it all too....hubby gets ME...365 days a year, what better present is there than that!!!!! LOL

off to work this morning, must run quick to Wal-Mart to pick up King Arthur movie released today for #2 son...he also likes whatever Mom gets him, usually clothes, movies and such...I always try for things people will not buy for themselves...
