ok you guys,, i did take a lot of time deciding what to send to each, that i could make for them,,, finnally rememberd hearing some wherre that both enjoyed candles, so there became the inspiration for the candle lamps, they have the very first 2 ever made, the ohters were made after people saw thiers and started wanting me to make them all some. so ocm i did spend some time thinking about them, i did take extra time and care withthose 2 making sure they were very well made and thought out,,, btw mac you can invert a push pin into the hole in the top of the stand to h old the base of the candle. yeah i only actually spent 88 cents and they only took a couple hours each,, but the locating the lumber, prep work time away from family etc adds in too. yeah the chest i made took several hours but it was a very large piece htat was made as a gift for a guy we spend lots of time with to his requested diminsions. as for the others bveing mass produced,, each one is actually one of a kind hand carved and hand rubbed with stain etc,,, so i think that even though my actuall cash out lay was lerss and that both mac and mic recieved similar items that i fully went by the ss concept,,

Ok, back from my workout. It wasnt as hard today, the teacher got chatty. I am here for a little bit..then off to wrap presents and then to the post office. It would be easier if family and friends lived closer, but hey the post office seems to be my second home these past few weeks.

ok have to tell off on secret she is sick andf stayed home lats night while we went to pack the groceries to be distributed this weekend for the charity we are involved with, and i asked her to chjange out a coouple loads of laundry we had going already and to wash a special load of blacks i had seperated out that contained a couple of colectors item concert t's from 1979 that i wanted washed and all her moms black stretch pants, gave specifics on how to wash those seperately and why, she was cool with that and off we went to pack 6 tons of groceries... i had the clothes seperated out for her and stracked on top of the dryuer all she had to do was place in washer and run,,, Also on top of dryer was abrand new box of bounce fabric sheets that i bought yesterday and had pulled 2 or 3 out of,,,anyway she didnt notioce the box,, and apparently just raked the clothes across into the washer and yup you geussed it washed the box of fabric softener in with the black cothes.. which now are coated in lil white fuzzy bits, and small chips of card board i just now spent the last 20 min picking lil chips of cardboard and fabric sofytener sheets out o f the laundry, and the washer and now am hoping the machine gets the rest out in a second washing

Froggy - No, I still think you missed the point. It was to personalize the individual gift with things that they had talked about or shared with us about their lives. And, if I can be blunt (which we all know I can) I found it extremely tacky that you posted that it only cost you .88 cents and that you only spent two hours on it. I found that very crass and it sent a clear message to me that you didnt get the point of the Secret Santas.

froggy i just now did what you said to with a thumb tack pin but the brim broke. the top part cracked and a chunk of it fell out. think it will hold if i tape it back together? tell me how to fix it.
