the yera wait is to let any thing that will heal on its own heal up, that way they will know what musclkes and nerves are working and what isnt beforewe try and plan a way to make lids. made sense to us anyway we think maybe the drs think if i live with it a nother year i'll give up they dont realize i am hard headed enough to stick it through the front of a motor home i ain t giving up
