jules must still be peeling apples, or fell into the barrel.... as I've not heard from her since then.

It has gotten cold here from what it has been...very windy...winter is on its way...although you have had it out there for awhile mac.

mic--he works at Chik-Fil-A. They are always sooooo busy I can only imagine how his day will be tomorrow My baby is not ready for some of the nasty shoppers out there.
Mac--nooooooo driving for me. I hate being in the car for a 5 hour trip much less 20. I think of all the hours at Disney that Im missing sitting in the car. Plus what sane individual would drive that far with 5 kids?? (well not 5 this trip but still )?

Toys R Us has 2 things I want: Doctors kits for $4.99 (need 2) and GameBoy advance Video's buy 2 get 1 free. Other than that I really didnt see any hilarious deals this year.

yes, mic, it sucks here. snow started yesterday afternoon. ohare airport backed up and only have two runways kept clear and that announcement came at 5 yesterday afternoon. today the streets are icy. my drive way another ice place where you could skate on..........i don't like winter.....i am not a snow bunny.

4gb, i hear ya about driving with boys............not worth it...........not worth it...
and, it takes too much time from disney.
there is nothing special i want to buy tomorrow, just want to be out of the house and shop, shop, shop. haven't been to the stores in two weeks due to that problem of having to go to work.
i know what you mean about being concerned about your 17 year old having to deal with mean people tomorrow. what type of store is chik fil a ? do they sell chickens?

hi guys, we made it through lunch,, and stayed till 330 this afternoon before middle brother and his son got to the point we were either leave or beat one of them. steve is spoiled roitten,, he got chicken nuggets, chips and dip for lunch, hes never made to eat at the table, never made to eat anyhting healthy, and is turning into a very disrespectful child. hes 7 now, and pitched a fit because secret wanted to help decorate the tree, and not play in the floor in the wqay with him. he threw stuff at her, hit her several times, and when jules got onto him they acted like whats wrong with her. soooo we left early

froggy, don't ya just love family get togethers...........

we never have that problem. we don't see the relatives.

four kids in my husbands family. only spent one easter with them and only one other sibling joined us. other than that, never spent a holiday with the inlaws.

on my side, had one thanksgiving dinner with parents and brother and his wife many moons ago and that was the last one.

we always just do the holidays with the ones inside our four walls. in the beginning i didn't like it that way, but now, its a blessing in disguise.

my friends here on the test thread are closer to me than all the relatives that i have, except for the gay cousin and one brother.



and, i'm real proud of you froggy for not knocking your brother into next wednesday.

shall we just say that its best for that brother and i to street very clear of each other ,, and since he s living next door to mom,, we dont go up very often or for very long at a time.. we have 57 acres there, 2 private ponds , i love that place but he and i are cut differently,, he hurt his back 6 yeras ago and has been on disability since, now hes decidfed( money ran out) that he had to get a job and moved in to dads rental to save money, he seldom manages to pay the rent, he drives a car that belongs to dad, steven eats at moms more than home, and i feel like brother should at least help take care of the place, but he refuises to help cut firewoood, help with the farm chores, or anything else earound there. he even thinks dad should do any repairs needed to the house i have one eye, a bad back, an artificial ankle, arthritus, nerve damage to my right arm and hand and i work every chance i can.

one of my brothers is a real jerk.........worse than yours.
i haven't had contact with him in eons. what i don't have around, i don't miss.
it was hard in the beginning, but i don't need the stress of him and his ways.

but then, my mom, sings praises about him, his wife and kids too much.
when i listen to her talk like that, i treat it as white noise and then i get by.

yeah mom has really spoile dthis kid, hes the middle brother and was always allowed to goof off while i was helping withteh farm chores, he couldnt operate the equipment at 18.. when i left home, i had to go back to the house to run the tractors because he couildnt stand the noise of the motor,, but he was in his room with stereo blaring the whole time i was working. he cant run a chain saw, too loud. cant help with fire wood because it hurts his back,, ( btw my back x rays show mine to have been broken twice in the past) he sat around and played video games while i was out getting jobs and earning money to pay for my truck and expenses,,, but when it was time for him to start driving dad gave him a truck, and bought all his gas etc,,,

today makes 2 weeks since moms comp died,, he offered this after noon to let her have his "extra hard drives and stuff " so youngest bro (hes a comp builder and programers for the state dept of education) could fix hers,, after she decided she had to wait till after christmas to buy a new pc for her self.

Oh, 4GB's, our Chic Fil A is always busy. I used to want to eat there all the time when it first opened, but now I can hardly stand it...again, weird ain't I... Hope he doesn't have too many cranky cranks...usually they don't start getting cranky til closer to the holiday...everyone will be in pretty good humor tomorrow...but I'll be sure and let you know how that goes

Well, after listening to mac and Froggy talk about siblings, I'm thinking I'm glad I'm an only child.... but don't worry, I inherited some winners via marriage but I will say the hubbies siblings are great and we all do get along...yes, we have different interests etc., but we all acknowledge that in each other and it helps to get along. I'd say we are most always there for each other when needed, even though we all live close (within 1/4 miles of each other) and sometimes don't even see each other for a month or so at a time.

Only here too. No brothers or sisters to fight with--and I always missed that growing up and actually still do especially since both my parents are deceased.
I always hope my boys are close when they grow up. They are pretty close now though they do have their fair share of fights over nothing.

I didnt go shopping this am either mac. Woke up at 5 and though Do I really want to get up?? the answer was no, so I just didnt do it. I didnt see any great deals on anything I was looking for so no need. But I do have to take my oldest to work at 11 so I cant wait to fight the mall crowd just to drive by
