I can't stay on long ~ have to go watch the "Hopers" soon Just wanted to give you all a quick update on "pop-pop" He does have a small tumor right at the base of his nervous system Fortunately, right now they think it's benign ~ but because of it's location, it's inoperable. They're going to try and treat it with medication for now. Hopefully the meds will work, since although it's most likely benign, it could still cause him a lot of problems because of where it is

Jules I hope everything works out! I am sure it will be fine, but I know it can be pretty scary. I hope the medicine works. Dont you wish that they could just inject the medicine and know within a few minutes as oppose to a few months?

ok since none of the major bbq grill manufactorers would sponser our groups cook off this year,, in thee morrning i get to go purchase this grill...

.. to give away. only thing is, we still havent heard back from weber grills, so we may get prizes from weber , but since i have to have grill in hand by monday, and ready to show off in a parade by wed, i get to purchase the grand prize grill and i think this is the one. You guys wanna come enter the contest and win it? we need entrants now..lol.. if i gotta give away a grill this nice i wanna at least like the ppl i give it too..lol

i'm home from shopping, just finished chinese.......and he was good......

jules hang in there. medicine has advanced so much these days, the right meds can be found and used effectively for pop pop.

froggy, how are things with wifey???? talking about the new job prospect.

ed, we started the day with fruit and ended with the beach.............

mickey, yes, shopping is kewl................very therapeutic.....got stuff for the kids and stuffed my face at crackel barrel.........you all might think crackel barrel isn't great but as long as i don't have to cook it, i love it. beats me making cornbread just for one person.........

ocm.......glad to inspire you..........if you lived closer i would watch your babies for you so you could go shop...

i is here,,, sort of listeningto the stand,, we bought dvd earlier today,, eating homemade taco salad, trying to catch up and convince myselfd i should go ahead and buy the grill..lol.. debateing tryiongto get w-m to give me adiscount on thte thing..lol

do what most people around here do, fall in the store, pretend youre hurt and get a good discount..................isn't that a crazy thing to do......some people have done it...

mac, dw has the job,, but there is a draw back,, the job does not exist yet,, its a position that has been vacant for 5 years and the owner thinks that since ppl are in building someone can file and post and answer phones,, problem is,, no one there takes or delivers messages, the new station manager wants to actually take the station from mom and pop and tuirn it towards regulart bizz , hes revamping salesdept, getting away from the good ol boys system, trying to get the entire station back on a sound footing, they are planning to have the job created in the next three weeks cause the owners son that is handleing it now goes in hospital then

lol i dont doubt that one bit,, how ever the store manager her e is a freind of mine, jeff and i get along, ( dw doesnt but thats a long story..lol) so i am just going to ask him straight up if he'll sell me the grill at cost or at an employee discount price, i could always call in son in law he manages a wal mart near the town where that grill is made..lol
