used to think about getting nose pierced...so over it now

the girls @ my beauty shop went out this weekend, got snookered & visited a tatto place that does piercings...you've never seen so much body jewelry . one very pretty girl (who had problem before with pierced tongue to the point where she had to have skin grafts in her mouth is now sporting 5 new piercings to add to the ones she already has in place...along with her "ink"). One on her lip, one on her face above her lip ala a beauty mark, one in the lower cartilage of each ear & one she wasn't divulging the location....you'd think once bitten twice shy? i managed to keep my yap shut & told her they were 'striking'

know i worked w/a couple of girls way back in the dark ages wherein it was part of their culture to wear them...way back before it was commonly seen. I thought they looked fine, very discrete imo

bank tried to get them to remove them during business hours, even though they didn't work platform where customers would see them.

the aclu had a field day , while they were fired for another 'trumped up reason' they indicate they received a nice settlement for their trouble.

bit of a bro-ha-ha over piercings in police depts too i wasn't aware of, evidently (whether for male or female) it's a considered a safety issue? like what a bad infection lol?
