Momma, I wanted to tell you that I was laughing out loud when I read that Nico wants an Annual Pass that boy is something else and that is hilarious...nothing like asking the Easter Bunny for a pass to the most wonderful place on earth I LOVE IT....

Usually when the economy is sucky, stuff is a little better priced to try and lure people to spend some bucks, but it seems that stuff is going up instead which is sad, no increase in what comes in, but they expect us to pay more out for everything. The grocery store comes to mind...might be a good time to consider not eating anymore Sure don't see those super saver airfares quite as often either, and I see that Delta is in real trouble...pretty soon SW will rule the sky.

Need to ride my bike tonight and think I'll watch BBrother on Demand from last night...Survivor is on also, but I can catch that OD also if I choose.

Bob - are the kids on break now or next week?

Tomorrow is Cam's first day off. He's off all next week and goes back a week from Monday. His TaeKwonDo school has a Spring Break camp next week that he's really excited about -- that's what he's doing next week.

It's was funny when he asked Santa for the 9ft pool table (with Redskin logo felt) Santa was able to explain that he couldn't fit it on his sleigh. The Easter Bunny doesn't talk..so that big dumb rabbit just nodded with that silly grin. Like this is a normal request. Oh sure..absolutely..of course you can have an AP. Alot of kids get over $200 Easter baskets. I guess I should be thankful he didn't ask the Easter Bunny for the pool table

Samantha was actaully more difficult than you would think. Disney Store changed the Minnie Costume to the one Minnie wears on Mickey mouse Clubhouse. Well, the color is pink and Sam was insistant that she wanted red. "I don't want that costume I want the red one." So I hunted and hunted and finally found one on Ebay for less than $50. Now I am just waiting for Julie's costume. Thank goodness I have one easy child this Easter.

Pam - hang in there with Trent. I can only imagine yur frustration level with it all.

Lori - that is great about your MIL doing it all. You can just sit back and enjoy the holiday. Sweet.


Bob - that is cool about camp for Cam. I'm sure he is looking forward to that.

Keisha - I know it is crazy how much the cost of Disney has gone up. Between the hotels and the cost to get down there we told the kids we weren't going to go at all this year. But they were heartbroken, so I was able to work it into my budget. It is getting insane just to drive up to DC anymore. It will be $400 round trip as long as gas stays just over 3.

I agree with you all that Here comes the sun was not a great song and I was shocked she didnt sing Yesterday or another ballod like that. I just hope she gets another shot.

lori - not chopped liver-pate (jk ). As tapped out as i am after DHs splurge, it'll be a big stretch to work in another trip for me (maybe if i roll all the pennies i found in the couches when i was rearranging them this week )

Mac - sounds like a great time you are having. The weather sounds amazing!! The time change is a bit of a struggle, but hoepfully Mr mac will catch on quickly. Enjoy yourself.

Mic - did you SIL ever get hold of you?

Pam - how was the shopping? I still haven't gotten the little things. Nico wants a football book. Julie needs a swimsuit and Sam wants the Minnie swimsuit from the Disney store, but I may get them books for now. I can only stretch my budget so far.

Morning all!

It is suppose to be 65 degrees here today Thank god it was nice here yesterday so the kids could go outside or i just may have went crazy yesterday! Had lots of afterschool kids here yesterday and they seem the worst to try to keep entertained.

ocm--i didn't get all my easter shopping done...just enough to get the daycare easter done. I didn't feel like doing it all so i will go back maybe friday.

mac--hope your having a good time!

lori--that is cool what your mil does. We went to san antonio a couple of years ago in july and it wasn't to bad...maybe i'm just use to the heat though. I didn't think it was any different from FL. Trent wants to go back there again.

bob--sounds like cam will have a good time. How long will you be in disney?

ed--when do your kids get out for easter break?

mic--okay, i am awful about watching those shows. I had good intentions so i knew what you all were talking about but yet again i fell behind and have no clue what you guys are talking about.....and no it's not because i'm blonde

Sounds like everyone is going to enjoy spring break with their families It is the first day of spring and windy and cold here...MAC...I envy you the view and weather! Glad you are enjoying the scenery so to speak! What have you been doing? just chill-laxin with your family? Neat to know you are gonna give us some pics....can't wait! Ok, I forgot all about AI last night with trying to watch Survivor and BB...Survivor was not on it's usual night, guess basketball is on instead? anyway, I saw the last minute, so Amanda got the boot it looked like? Honestly, I didn't see her going all the way, but I enjoyed her more then the country girl...but whatever...neither of them were going to make it to the end.

Momma, that whole Easter Bunny story is so cute and one for the books! Nico is a smart little dude.

Ok, got some work to do.......and can I say I'm thrilled to have tomorrow off, of course 3 days will zoom by even faster then 2, but at least it ain't here I'm treating myself to a pedicure tomorrow also, my Easter present to ME

Hey everyone sound like your all very busy.
Same here, I've been cleaning up my bar/playroom in the basement trying to get ready for Chris's birthday sleepover and his first communion and when I started that I decided to paint the unfinished wood planks that covered the wall and made it look like a cave in the woods so I picked an off white color and was trying to decide on a theme for the room so I went with caribbean, think this as my inspiration

Thats right I went a bought turqouis paint and did the trim bought some rope to wrap around the steel support colums and I'm just getting started.

Not to mention all the other work the house is getting done soccer and T ball starting if the snow ever melts.

hallway carpet. 'If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this
horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.'


The old lady stepped back and said, 'Well let me get you a fork, 'cause they
cut off my electricity this morning.'

ed - i am floored (i could say pillared ); how long did that take . You must have a zen-like patience threshold

best buy seems to have misplaced DHs 50 inch tv; easy to understand since it's so frickin big!!!!!! supposed to call them back @ 5 to see

A) if the truck arrived (the one that was supposed to be there @ 11 am
B) if it's on the truck, of course they don't do mainfests or track by computer...they record it as they unload the truck (how low-tech is that?)
C) said truck will get unloaded "if the kids that are scheduled show up today"

So I call corporate & they tell me, yep-that's the way they roll . Best part, when i asked the agent to check & see if they still have them in stock, she checked & said "no...2 are in transit..." but, they have no way of knowing where they're going.

wonder how long of a lead time i've got to cancel the directv service call for tomorrow
