Very quiet in the office this morning, meetings and such going on and different ones working out on the road, so I will be entertaining myself by looking at a catalog or two I brought in

School is called off here today because it is brutal outside....last i knew it was -29 degrees out with the windsheild....that's to dang cold for me!!!

i'm at work.
i overslept and the skool called me at 9 this morning.
yea, i was real late..............



i have a problem with sbc and a filter i found out.
my computer went down last night at 10 and i went more nuts than i usually am.

called sbc from work and had smart son at home call and handle the issue.

have to go to radio shack and get a replacement on the filter or won't be able to get online.

have to go, bell ringing............


some idiot pulled the fire alarm today at 1 pm.
it is fricking cold outside.
now we are making up the time here.

Morning Everyone!

I think I shall survive. This flu bug is nasty and it kicked my butt seven ways to Sunday for the past couple of days. I'm running at half speed today, but at least I am able to be up and about.

I always figured that Preparations A thru G were attempts to shrink swelling on other... ummm... openings... orafices, if you will... but they didn't go over as big as Preparation H did.

I hope to be around more now that I'm recovering. I hope everyone has a good day!

Mic - Glad the sun is out where you are. It is not here. Once again we are having a little ice and it is cold. Sunday - Tuesday it was in the high 60's. It's no wonder we stay sick around here in the winter.

Has anyone heard from OCM? Haven't seen her for days.

hey hey hey......i am here.........for a bit that is....


went to bed at 1 this morning and up at 5.
had to take todd to the train station/amtrak at downtown chicago.
we left before 5:30..........traffic is horrible every day of the week.
sometimes you catch a break and beat the rush but then, a car accident happens and it's gridlocked for all behind the accident.

saw a good one this morning. rescue just got there to the car.
car hit black ice and spun and flipped on the side.

anyhoot, parked downtown by station and went in to get breakfast. we had 20 minutes before loading.

got back out and have a parking ticket.
that sucks.
most people just pay them as it is timely and costly to go to court and challenge it.

got home at 9:00 this morning. told you traffic was bad.
going north, i went 5 mph until 3/4 out of the city.

went to bed when i got back home and slept until close to 1 today.

that's my story and i am sticking to it.....

Calling for snow and freezing rain late tonight and into the morning, so hoping for maybe a reprieve and we can go into work a little later...doubtful the whole day will be cancelled, but won't have to rush in...although I'll be awake at normal time so it may as well do nothing

I'm cold, so think I'll go ride the bike and warm up a bit
