TEST (part 2)

hello - it's a bright & shiney day here today:cool1: ; i slept thru most of it since i was up most of the night coughing:confused3 . started taking Rx of cipro i had on hand, called dr. said if i'm not all better mid-week, i've got to come & visit...

then he'll growl @ me for the the lies the scale will tell:rolleyes1 i've got to do my slimfast thang 1st;)

Tricia - sorry your baby is being clingy. My youngest gets like that too. And until this year, she only spoke to me and her siblings. People actaully told me to take her to get help with her speech. I always explained that it wasn't that she doesn't talk..she just didn't want to talk to them:lmao:

That is my older one. DS6 just freezes like a deer in headlights when someone he doesn't know trys to talk to him. He'll look at me like he is drowning and looking for the life saver. I find myself talking "for" him. Like, "He is 6. He is in Kindergarten. He enjoys school. He likes to read." I feel like the puppeteer... I just don't have my arm shoved up his back or anything weird like that. ;)

When Sammie wants to talk she does...it's shutin' her up that's the problem!!! :lmao: ( not really, but once she does decide she wants to talk to you , you better listen)

Now, that sounds like my 2 year old. He might hide behind my legs whenever he meet someone new, but catch him about 10 minutes later and he'll be crawling all over the new person and telling them anything and everything he can think of (including some stuff that we wish he wouldn't  ).

I never want to get out of bed, probably because when bed time hits I am wide awake. Think I turned off the tv at 2 this morning.

TV never puts me in a sleepy mood. I have to read. And I prefer to read a book that I've already read before and enjoyed. That way, I don't get caught up in the "what happens next" stuff. I have to wind my brain down before I can go to sleep.

Now, DH on the other hand, can fall asleep within seconds of his head hitting the pillow. :confused3

Me? I'm like a computer that has to shut down before I can turn off. Him? He's like a light switch. *Poof* He's gone.

Well I was also trying to do some stuff on the computer. TV rarely makes me sleepy, unless of course it is something I really want to see.

My dh & Ally can fall asleep easily too. Mikey & I are the ones that have problems going to sleep. I can be super sleepy all afternoon & evening long and when 10:00 gets here I am wide awake.:headache:

Did the little one do better once big brother got home today?

Did the little one do better once big brother got home today?

Nope. In fact, big brother got so annoyed with the whining that he asked if he could go next door to play video games with his aunt.

DH should be home soon. Maybe he'll have the magic touch. Goodness knows, I haven't had it today.

So....that tells me it's time to stop working today:rolleyes: Pretty soon I need to make the girls and I some supper, and then we leave for home at 7pm. It's been a long day, and I'll be glad to have it over.

Have a good night!!

I'm guessing that with custom framing, you deal with razor blades quite a bit. Best to stop when you are too tired to tell which is the pointy/cutty side. :scared:

thanks mic - i'm so bored with it i could scream

i didn't know they still made razor blades:confused3

i use an exacto knife thingie, it's old; not sure if they sell replacements

i need to find blanket binding for a quilt that has come undone, perhaps micheal's or joann fabrics?

evening all!

what a day...i can tell a storm is coming....the kids were awful today:confused3 I started on my taxes today too:scared1: I'm thinking it's not going to look to pretty this year. I go and meet with my cpa next weekend so hopefully she can tell me everything's gonna be alright;)

slo--sounds painful!! Hope it stops bleeding soon. I remember when I cut my finger on my pamered chef slicer....my thumb bled forever.

ks--get your butt better!!!! You have been sick for waaaayyyyyy to long.

I am so mad!!! I ran around with my head cut off tonight trying to get everything done because my favorite show is on and come to find out i forgot about that dumb speech!!! On the night that my show is on!!!! The nerve!!!!:sad2:

pam - i saw the state of the union listed and groaned too, sure don't need to be told what state we're in...

good luck on the taxes:wizard: i should start counting my $ on 2/08:woohoo:

I am so tired. I was talking to TVT on the phone and I fell asleep.:lmao: Sorry Tony

I hope you all have a good night. I will talk to you all tomorrow after the gym :thumbsup2

If you find some, let me know. I have one that needs it too. And it is the cuddle "big soft blankie" that sits on the couch.

Yours too? DS2 was on a rampage today. I seriously considered stapling his pants to the wood deck out back and tossing him some snacks from time to time, but that would be wrong... wouldn't it? :confused3 :rotfl:

Slo - You be careful. Gotta agree with Tricia, when you get tired you need to stop.

I was sitting here earlier trying to watch a video clip and kept nodding off. Some how I know I am going to be wide awake again when it is time to hit the hay.

pam - i saw the state of the union listed and groaned too, sure don't need to be told what state we're in...

Well, I could tell you the state of the union but you probably don't want to hear what I think about it.

No Tricia you can not staple my boy to the deck. I will come get him if you need me to. Believe me though, there have been many times I wanted to do it to mine too.

i know for a fact you can still get exacto knives.
if you get cut with them, they leave really big nasty scars.

be careful slo with your weapons........

evening all!

pam, i hate that when it happens to me also.
all excited for my tv show and then it is not on.........
yes, big storm due tomorrow afternoon.
from tuesday noon to wednesday, we are predicted to have a 48 degree drop within that 24 hour period.

one thing good about having mr mac around is he takes care of all the taxes and filing for us.

keisha, i agree with pam, get better or get to the doctor. it has been about 2 weeks now you have been sick with that chest cold.

I am so tired. I was talking to TVT on the phone and I fell asleep.:lmao: Sorry Tony

sweet sleep.

did you snore in his ear?
and stay away from the closet too :rolleyes1

and watch out for the duct tape.

a very long day for me and it will be the same tomorrow.

got up early, did curves at 5ish then to work at 7
then to ohare to get son but his plane was delayed and i sat curbside until the pigs had me move. then drove around and around and around the airport until son called and said he was coming out...

drove to the city, ate middle eastern food with son, drove back home.
came in the house, kissed the kats and patted mr mac's head.

then back out for grocery shopping and taco bell dinner for one son again.

now it's play time for me but i think you all are catching zzzzzzzzzz's now.

sweet sleep.
see you in the morning.

Well as I suspected I am wide awake. Guess it's okay though, I'm going to keep both kids home tomorrow and take them to the doctor. They have both had a cough since before Christmas. We have alredy been through one round of antibiotics, guess we will try again.

Nite everyone!

Thanks everyone for asking about my finger :)
In my line of work, getting cut is part of the job. In fact, me asking people if they mind getting cut, is even a part of my interview process :rotfl: Because if someone says, "yes", than this is not the job for them :sad2:

The whole thing was a stupid mistake, and it's something I haven't done in many many years. The girls were distracting me, and I just didn't think:rolleyes: Luckily, razor blade cuts usually heal really fast, because it's always a nice clean cut:rolleyes:

RVGal - Yes, in custom framing I use alot of razor blades ::yes::. In fact, I probably use razor blades as much as a chef uses his favorite chopping knife. My employee always laughs because she's only 16, and she never saw a razor blade before until she started working at the shop, and they are everywhere, because I use them so much. She's learning how beneficial they are now, and uses them tons and tons now too :thumbsup2

kshadow (my abbreviation :teeth: ) - These razor blades are purchased through my supplier, and their initial use is for my large mat cutter. After they get dull, and I need to replace it with a new one, I put it in a little bowl, and use it for other misc jobs. I'm not sure if razor blades are sold in regular stores or not - I'm never had to look for them.

pbohm (my abbreviation :teeth: ) - I know someone that cut themself the same way too, and those are nasty cuts, because it's a slice  I bet that took a long time to heal

Mac - I hope today is not as long and busy as yesterday :wizard:

Loribell - Good luck at the doctor today. I hope the doctor can find what's causing your son's cough :wizard: :wizard:

To everyone else - :wave2:

Well, I gotta run and get ready for work
Have a good day today!!

Good Tuesday morning everybody !!

I think winter is officially over here...high 70's and low 80's are back for the next 10 to 15 days !

I'm glad you got some sleep Sweet. Glad you didn't worry about me driving back down that dark turnpike all sleepy myself last night.:woohoo: That's ok...I just talked to myself to keep me awake until I got home. I do that alot ya know....:lmao:
