she'll be able to meet more of the gang here.

Good Mrning everyone.
I was just watching the Patriots get on the bus to head to AZ.

I did get lucky I got tickets to the Apr 21st game vs Texas a.k.a. the Patriots Day game or the Boston Marathon game.

Morning/afternoon and happy Sunday

Poor Pam and her tootsie....take care of it so you will get better...wear that sexy boot like you are supposed!! Listen to mother now

Ed, SCORED one on the tix, good for you! Patriots Day is my hubby's birthday, so I expect a big win on that day! It sounds like fun, it's usually an afternoon game too isn't it?

Just cleaned my bathroom:headache: , gonna shower up and head to the grocery store I think, was going to pass on it til after work tomorrow, but need a few things TODAY.. so after dh leaves for work I think I'll make a fast getaway and get back.

It IS Sunday already, I played around yesterday and only did some :laundy: which is really unacceptable, but I DON'T CARE...its one of my days off and if I want to act goofy all day I will:upsidedow

Momma, your scale said no such thing:goodvibes Mine said 'you ain't nevva gettin' off these 3 numbers lady, so quit getting on here everyday looking for a miracle'......:rotfl: I was WAY late yesterday doing my 'cises, so I was up WAY late cause then it took me awhile to relax, but at least I didn't skip doing them...the day got away from me...I think I started thinking about doing them around 3 p.m. and finally decided at 8 I better do them :lmao: I hung out too much on the computer yesterday...bad me..

Macraven, sorry to invade your thread but I just wanted to say Hi! How are you doing?

Hi BabyPiglet! Glad to see you here. Stick around and play with us. This is a great group!

most of the others, ok, i think all but lori is still up.

i noticed her green light is still on.....
see, she left the light on for you.

I have no idea why my light was still on. After I said I was going to bed I pulled up & printed park hours for our trip and then went to bed. Mikey was still up using the computer, maybe there was a dis window minimized.:confused3

morning all!

EEEEKKKKK!!! It's sunday...that mean tomorrow is back to work:surfweb:

bubba--i went to the doctor on monday and found out that i have a tear in my plantar fascia ligament. Told me that i should do nothing for 3 months:sad2:

I have a babyshower to go to today and then noah plays basketball a little later. Hope everyone has a good sunday!

Have a good day & try to stay off that foot. It has to be better before your trip. Priorties ya know!

I got on my scale this morning and it said "Only one at a time"

It did not!

Good Mrning everyone.

Good luck Pats! Man that is gonna be a long bus ride!!!!!:rotfl: j/k
Congrats on the tickets!

Do you want to come clean mine????

Totally agree, it is my day & I'm gonna do what I want. I went to the store yesterday, being a bum today!

My son keeps weighing himself every day. I keep telling him to just pick a couple of days a week to do it. It's frustrating to do it every day. Keep up the good work though.

Have a great day everyone!

Our scales must be from the same brand.:sad2: Good for you doing them. I wish I had your kind of discipline. I was at the gym at 8:30am. If I wait too long, I have no will power to go at night. Plus, from what everyone says, going to the gym at night is like going to a meat market. I don't wear make up or put on flattering clothes to work out. I get hot, I sweat, I don't want to be seen like that by guys looking to get laid. Although..one look at me working out and I would probably cure their ailment:lmao:

I went to the grocery store all sweaty too. I felt bad for the other patrons..well, ok, not that bad as I still went.;)

Mac - thanks for covering us. I have to get ready to go to Nico's football game. Honestly, I love working out on Sunday mornings because the gym is not crowded at all.

BTW - Barb - you got both answers right:thumbsup2 You rock:banana:

I have to run, but I will catch up with the rest of you next posting.

Welcome to Baby piglet.

Morning... er... Afternoon Everyone!

I'm trying to get all the stuff together for our corporate taxes. I have to turn it over to the CPA soon.

bubba--i went to the doctor on monday and found out that i have a tear in my plantar fascia ligament. Told me that i should do nothing for 3 months:sad2:

Okay, the torn ligament and sexy boot don't sound like fun... but the "doing nothing" doesn't sound so bad to me. Maybe it's because I never get to do nothing.

I have no idea why my light was still on. After I said I was going to bed I pulled up & printed park hours for our trip and then went to bed. Mikey was still up using the computer, maybe there was a dis window minimized.:confused3

You can NEVER trust my green light. I open a page on the DIS and walk away from the computer all the time.

Hey Baby Piglet! Like slo and Bubba's Mom said, we're new here too!

I guess I better get back to my paper work. :headache:

i see your point.
i would not want to go back and do sesame street all over again.
really, i am behind in the times of what littles are watching now a days.

i raised mine with movies.
Terminator was the first one they watched.

they always went to bed when told to for a month after seeing that movie.

i promised them the robot eyes would not bother them if they went to their beds and feel asleep right away.

it did give me a month of peace at night time.......

ha:rotfl: the very 1st movies i ever rented for my brood was terminator & winnie the pooh....how's that for eclectic? guess i'm guilty of scarring my DSs for life, we were big on freddy kreuger & wrestling too:confused3

buying of BB tix, spring is in the air! we can show up 5 min. before a Pirates game & get seats behind homeplate:lmao:

put me (& DH if better 1/2s are permitted) on the questionable list for end of July. He has vacation the week of August 3rd; not sure if can swing it or not...but, keep me in the loop.:thumbsup2

mic & i have said it's a shame we live so close & haven't done lunch yet;) ; hard for me (aside from getting a "baby-sitter" for ma, i have night blindness and even driving @ twilight/cloudy day can be an issue for me...another perc of being old as dirt I suppose).

did anyone ever consider the meet they have every summer in Altoona/Allentown (cannot remember which city lol) know it sells out months in advance, think it's run by allears?

barb - u have the best similies

our refunds coming on 2/8:woohoo:

it's been a long day here...........
i'll be glad when it is bedtime.

tomorrow another full day for me.
go to curves to work out at 5 am
come home get ready for work, leave at 7 for that.

come home after work, check plane schedule for son.
have to pick him up i think around 4:45 tomorrow evening.

and of course, it will take me at least 3 hours to get back home since i will be stuck like a rat in the rush hour traffic.

the things i do for my son.....:scared:

if i can get on tomorrow before work, i will.
maybe i can sneak time in while on the job.
all classrooms have computers. all attendance is done in each class thru the computer.

if i disable the smilies i think i can get away with it.....

it sounds like everyone has had a very good day.
we need more days like that.

anything good on tv tonight?

keisha, you better get your behind to the doc tomorrow.
you have been sick too long and it might get worse.

pam, stay off your foot too.
just hop around the house this week......
have the dog fetch things for you to help you out.....:rolleyes1

and, wear your sexy boot to bed.
i hear they are real turn ons to husbands.

sweets, i too prefer work outs in the early morning.
when i can't get there then and have to go around 4ish, i don't do my best

mic, did you move upstairs yet?

bob, you in golf world now?

ed, good on scoring for those tickets.

lori, slo, bubba brab, tricia, and everyone else, hi there.....:goodvibes

Well, folks... the tax stuff is almost done. We can mail a couple of things off to keep the gov't happy (or at least busy). I'm still waiting on some stuff from our banks, etc to have the full box of crap to turn over to the CPA, but my part is pretty much done.

What a wonderful Sunday it has been. ::sniff, sniff:: Smell that? That was sarcasm...

Good morning everyone! Have a wonderful breakfast!

KS, we will work something out and meet 'tween us for a lunch or breakfast ;) so you won't be driving in the dusky times of day...we are within what, 3 hrs. I'm guessing range

No move yet mac, had a meeting with the owner the other day, my position has not been 'defined' as of yet...I could end up an assistant to the accounting department (basically what I'm doing now...duh...and it has to be 'defined') good thing though, what ever raise I get will be retro active as of tomorrow...I opted for that as opposed to a small token raise now. It is so screwed up I give up even trying to figure it out. I figure I only have a couple years left to work, so I'm not gonna drive myself crazy over it and having to travel farther from home to work. Who knows, I might actually end up happy:upsidedow

We were never movie gestapo with the boys either...there was stuff we wouldn't let them watch, but KS knows, all that Freddy Krueger, Rambo, Terminator stuff was all the rage back in the 80's. Wrestling was big too with them as were Indiana Jones, Star Wars and all that. My boys were big into the comedies too...Revenge of the Nerds and all that crazy stuff. Really, hard to tell what they watched, its been too long ago. They can quote any darn movie you ask them about though...especially 'Space Balls"...:rotfl: With what is in movies now, I understand parents being more vigilent in what they let the kids see. Seems everything goes (including clothes) nowadays and the violence is twice as much as it used to be. I myself like a good ole romance;)

I skipped thinking of my taxes today, have all the stuff, decided to wait til later in the week to tackle it...I do our's online, we have little deductions etc. so it's easy.

Kurt, you early or late;)

Kurt you are a little late with the breakfast offerings, although I do like to eat breakfast food for dinner every now and then.

Mac - Hope you get some sleep tonight. That boy sure owes you.

i just made a pot of coffee!

it's a sign i tell ya'

hoo woo....and woo hoo........

we do our taxes send off on due date with a check.
it's always a depressing day around our home on that day.

i hope mic and keisha get to connect for lunch.

will be back later.

yea, tricia, i smelled it too......

I'm not so sure this won't happen to us again this year....so I'm procrastinating a bit...it is depressing for sure when you owe...blech

Keisha - I dont even know about the Allentown meet. But if you and Mic can wait until summer, I will be up there early July and I would gladly meet both of you for lunch. :thumbsup2

Ed - that is awesome about scoring the tickets. That will be a blast.

Tricia - I did infact sniff out the sarcastic sentiment. However, look at the bright side..you are that much closer to having it all done.

Pam - are you going to be able to play volleyball if and when it starts?

Mic - I would have made the same decision with the back pay and the raise. It would be better for me too in the long run to have it done that way. Plus, then you are on a higher payscale for a raise the following year.

Mac - I agree..you go above and beyond for your kids considering they are all adults now.

Loribell - I used to weigh myself 6xs a day. Now, my scale can't handle the weight that often:rotfl2: No seiously..I weigh myself twice a day now. Once right before I go to bed and once right when I wake up. It makes me feel better to know I lost weight while I was sleeping.;) I have no idea how old your son is, but while I was dancing, (Age 12-19) I weighed myself all the time. I constantly had to remember that guys were lifting me. And I had to be under what they could lift. So I think that it is normal to weigh yourself a lot when you are younger.

Kurt - thanks for the breakfast..but these days, just water for me until after my workout. ;)

Barb - that was a great smilie!!:rotfl:

My ultimate movie story (from being little) was when my aunt and mom thought they would rent us this cool Disney movie called Watcher in the Woods. Well, it was not such a good idea because none of the 9 of us that saw the movie would sleep for over two weeks. That is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen.:scared1:

Taxes? You mean those papers that you drive to the post office with at midnight on April 15th? :confused3 I haven't even thought about my taxes. I will get a refund..so maybe I should think about sending it in to my CPA.

I am physically exhausted. I had a kick butt workout today, but I am glad I have tomorrow off from the gym. I am working tomorrow though, so not as much of a day off as people would think. Back to the gym on Tuesday though. I am determined to lose the last bit of weight.

ocm - Michael is 16. The problem is he is weighing himself constantly thinking he needs to loose weight. I just don't like him worrying about it so much.
