KIA is Having a test drive!! The Dealerships have test drive Certficates for test driving a KIA SEDONA then you recieve a Certificate for the Shrek Video!!

Call the KIA Dealerships to make sure they have the certificates. Dh did the test drive. And then you telephone in a code on the back of the certificate to get the video.

I did this the other day. I called the dealership and they said come on in and fill out the form. So I drove three towns away to the dealership only to have them tell me they were out of forms and they would call me (I doubt it) "if" they got any more in. And the manager made some rude remark about how they are free so I had no right to be upset.

Pixie_Dust, if I were you, I'd go to the Kia site and email them about this, especially the rude manager. The offer is still up on the Kia site, so they should be able to honor it. My local dealer is on my way home from work, so I'll most likely stop there one day this week to do this testdrive. I'll let you know how I make out.

I also found 3 other testdrives on the funtasia website that I'm going to try & find time to do.. There's one for Buick for a $50.00 Borders books GC to be done by 10/31, one for Nissan Altima for a $50.00 CDNow GC to be done by 11/15, and one for Saturn for a $25.00 Webbie, or Target GC, or Borders/Walden books GC that you have to order their brochure to get and must be done be 11/3.

I stopped on my way home from work today to my local Kia dealer to do the Test-drive for the Shrek video, and they did not have the form, even though I saw a TV commercial promoting it on one of our local TV stations! At least they were fairly nice about it. I did go to the Kia site and email them about it, so I'll let you know what response I get.

I also stopped at Buick and did the $50.00 Borders Books CG test-drive that I mentioned in my previous post. I had no probem with that one. They emailed me the form immediately after I signed up, and I did not actually have to drive the car. They couldn't have been nicer. I will remember that when we really do start looking for a car because that's the kind of people I want to be dealing with.

Got an email response from Kia saying that if I would tell them what dealership I went to, they would arrange to send them more certificates. I thought that was interesting, since the people at the dealership said they had not yet received any certificates in the first place.

Has anyone else been able to do this test-drive and actually get the certificate?

My dh went to the KIA dealer yesterday. He told the guy why he was there, he had to do the testdrive and then they told him that they were out of Certificates. The salesman gave my dh his business card and told him to call Kia! DH was so mad, he left. He called the dealership later and talked to the sales manager who said they were getting more certs in today, so stop back. My dh is on his way there now...I'll let you know what happens.

BTW-DH said the salesman was a real jerk. Didn't tell him anything about the car he drove, wouldn't talk, nothing. Even though we aren't looking for a car right now you would think the guy would be pleasant so we'd come back when we are looking for a car. UGH! Never had this much trouble with a promo before.

I wasn't even expecting it for another 2-3 weeks, which is what they told me when I called the number of the certificate. They were also a bit snotty about wanting a "street address" and I do not have one as they do not deliver mail here, so thought that would end up being a hassle also. Yeah!

Glad to hear someone actually got this video. Maybe I'll check back again this week to see if they have the certificates yet since I'll be in the area anyway.

After my dh's experiences at the Kia Dealer we never thought we'd see the certificate. But they did indeed mail it to us! We were both in shock. I called in my code right away. The rep said 1-2 weeks. It will be 2 weeks on Friday. Keeping our fingers crossed....

I stopped by at Kia on my way home from work today and got my Shrek certificate! At first they said they were our, at which point I groaned & said "Oh, no not again!". They jokingly offered me a FREE Sedona - I said "Sure! When can I pick it up? Can I choose the color?" One of the salesmen then said he had seen a few on the owner's desk across the street so off we went & I got my certificate!
I called it in as soon as I got home. Can't wait to get the video!
