Just leased a Tesla car for a month and I ADORE IT! How much fun is this car? It plays laser light shows, accelerates like a monster, plays videos of log fires, is amazingly comfy, is the epitome of technology... favourite car EVER!

I love the idea of a Tesla. I don’t love the idea of driving it in my local traffic. People here seem to drive the exact opposite of whatever the current laws and common sense dictate. If I had one, it would probably sit in my garage wrapped in bubble wrap!

A former co-worker just got a Tesla. Loves it so far, but one issue that keeps coming up. The Tesla map of Super Charging Stations in rural areas isn't accurate. Twice he has gone to locations on the map and there are no Super Chargers and the people at the locations say they have no idea why they are on the map. He did finally get a 110 power cord so he can use those charge locations. I guess Monday he was on 0 miles and he ran into someone with a Tesla who had a 220 charger at home. They invited him over for a quick charge and the best homemade lemonade he has ever had!

I have a different EV. I love it! Quiet and peppy. There are several non-native apps to help you locate chargers when out and about. So nice to essentially have a clean “gas station” in your garage.

We get free gas! One of our destinations has four free charging spots and usually on average only two are in use. Then again, with a range of hundreds of miles and a charger in our garage, it's not a fuss to charge over night.

There is ONE problem - the road noise is a little on the loud side. Other than that it's superb. You know the central console? You can simulate a roaring log fire on it. Pointless, but fun!

I have a Mustang Mach E. It projects a lighted image of the Mustang logo on the ground at night. Equally pointless, and equally fun.

Which model did you lease?

I love driving my Tesla in Seattle gridlock. It has made my 30min - 2 hour (depending on time of day) bearable. The car drives it’s self and I am just there to look out for construction and stupid drivers. Relaxing and wonderful. I got a model 3.

This is the main reason I want to get a car with self driving features. The majority of my driving is in commuter traffic and that's definitely the most stressful part of driving as you're constantly hyperfocused with the start/stop motion.
