Tesco Internet phone

We have a couple of these phones at home. We are going to SSR and onthe Disney Magic in November. We are planning to take DD's laptop with us and use internet access via a cable at SSR and wireless access on the Disney Magic. Can anyone tell me of the Tesco internet phone will work through either of these option?. DD uses her Tesco phone through her laptop wirelessly in her bedroom. Surely, therefore, it should work in the USA??
Any advice or if you've had any luck with the same, I would be interested to know.

Firstly I hope you have a fantastic holiday, I'm sure you will.

On the phone issue, a couple of points, if you are getting internet access to just use the phone, is the cost of the internet access going to outweigh what you would be saving on calls, if you see what I mean.

Another alternative would be to setup MSN messenger with amicrophone, the response is pretty good nowadays.

think disneys internet access is $10 a day could be $20 not too sure

Its $9.95 plus tax for 24 hours service. In the bedrooms it is broadband via cable and in some public areas it is wireless.

Q8 of FAQ in my Tesco phone set up book says: Your Tesco phone will work from anywhere in the world if it has a broadband connection.

Thanks everyone for your advice. It looks like it may be worth taking the phone and trying it anway, since we do intend getting internet access at both resorts. We will have a mobile phone to use anyhow, but thought this may be useful for "sea days" on the cruise.
