Just had to tell our Dis-friends;

We have used £2900 worh of Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers to go for 17 days in February 2012. This is the third time we have used vouchers for a holiday in Florida.

We'll be able to max-out AP's from our August 2011 holiday.

Now that the vouchers will only be worth 3 times their value from tomorrow, we doubt we'll be using them for future bookings. :headache:

Suppose I'd better add another countdown...........:dance3:

Well done collecting so many points :goodvibes I don't spend enough to get that kind of amount - just cashed my £69 in on a few different things.

We are dedicated point collectors but the change in value means they aren't so attractive any more.

Thanks anyway.

Great news David.
Our cruise is getting closer now, almost paid it off last weekend never got around to it then the exchange rate went down. The minute it hits $1.60 I am paying.

Well done on getting so many vouchers to enable MrT to pay for your holiday.

We have agreed to do exactly the same actually. When it went up a few weeks ago, we were kicking ourselves as it went back down fairly quickly.

Ive recentl;y had knee surgery and could do with some of that Floridian heat to ease the pain!!

Im a little confused about the Swap your clubcard vouchers for Airmiles thing, so i'm requiring some clarification if possible.

As you know, Tesco send out your vouchers regularly - so how do you then swap them for miles? Do you have a code to pop in online .... OR .... do you go into the store .... OR .... do you have to request future vouchers go towards miles:confused3

You need to go onto the Tesco website, find the deals page and look for the airmiles link. You then buy airmiles according to how many points you redeme.

OP congrats on your next Tesco holiday. I've maxed out too now and booked for April 2012, although I may change it yet, to Summer 2012 when that's released. It'll never be the same now that the plug has been pulled. But it was good whilst it lasted. Last year we stayed at the Yacht club, somewhere we could never ever afford to stay if we were paying cash.

Have a lovely time, and I'm also waiting for the dollar to hit 1.60 again so I can pay off our cruise for next year.

Wow! Have a great trip, all that lovely planning to do!:goodvibes

Where abouts in Norfolk do you live?

Airmiles are one of the best ways to redeem the points - you don't pay taxes or charges on top... so you get flights for next to nothing. We use them to fly Birmingham to Orkney (mum is up there) and usually get a return of 8 to 12 x the Tesco token value.

We only swap the tokens for miles a month before we want to book - you can't swap them back.

You do it just like any other Tesco deal - it's just the first time you do it an airmiles account gets set up with the details of the Tesco clubcard holder - you can then link it with the accounts of any of your family at the same address. Hubby has an airmiles credit card - I do the clubcard - we get 8 free zone 1 flights every other year. (unfortunately Orkney is 2 Zone 1 flights in value due to changing planes gggrrrrrrr!!!)
