Stayed at Dolphin last few days. Woke up at 2:00am and looked out window and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but HarmonioUS in full swing! Now, I didn't have a balcony room so I couldn't hear any sounds (which I'm sure they weren't doing at 2:00am), but there is hope that things will change. The next night I woke up at about 1:00am, and yup, again, there was HarmonioUS again!
Can't wait for things to get back to normal. This was my third trip since Covid and things really aren't the same at night. I used to love going into the Tune In lounge for a cocktail while waiting for a firework, or stopping and finding a spot for Epcot.....or batteling the crowds for a fireworks shop at MK. Never thought I'd miss a hotdog at Casey's Corner like I"m missing now. Loved running into The LIttle Mermaid, or Beauty and The Beast. Things are certainly different.
One thing I know for sure. I will never, EVER take anything for granted at WDW. I can remember nights where I just wanted to beat the crowds out of MK and would leave at the start of the fireworks. NO MORE. Once things are back to normal, I will enjoy each and every minute.
Life is short and you never know what lurks around the corner. Enjoy the ride and the journey.
