Terrain of CC 5K

Having never been to Castaway Cay I have no clue as to the terrain. How hilly is the route for the 5K? Just finished my second 5K this morning and was thinking about that as I was running uphill.

It is extremely flat.

There is SLIGHT elevation going around the loop - the runway portion obviously is pancake flat. The loop, while not super hilly DOES have a touch incline to it. But not bad.

The heat and humidity are worse than the incline by far!

Yes to the slight slight incline in the loop (which you do twice). Just enough to hurt if you're not in condition and the heat is getting to you.

I read this and laugh because everyone always says there is no incline but there definitely was a slight incline! I ran in February and we had been training in ny and had a brutal winter and definitely were not prepared for the heat. And as sad as it is that slight incline had an impact for hubby and me! It was def hot and humid. But an absolutely great experience! You get to see the island and run with very encouraging Disney runners! Great time!!!
