We are going to WDW for two weeks and dont want to be cramped into a standard room. I am looking into a vacation home and the Terra Verde looks great with a very reasonable price....$155 per night for a 3 bedroom town home. The complex is only 3 years old. Again everything looks great, but you know what they say. If it looks too good to be true.....it usually is. Before I plunk down my non refundable deposit, I want to know if anyone has any opinons of this place. Their web address is OrlandoVillaHomes

3 questions:
1) When are you going?
2) Did you want a private pool, or is the shared resort pool ok with you?
3) Looks like you're booking through a management company? You *may* get a better rate when booking direct with an owner... Take a quick look here - the townhome you're thinking of renting may be listed..

Terra Verde gets good reviews, newer resort in Kissimmee:)

Going in June 2006. I agree all review are great for this place. I just want to make certain. Public pool is ok for us, but we were thinking about a private one as well.

It's in Kissimmee. Her is the address:

Terra Verde Resort
109 Madeira Beach Blvd.
Kissimmee, FL 34746
Phone: 407-396-2327 Fax: 407-396-8265

Terred Verde is a nice new community. But the townhomes do have either small private pool or a hot tub.I preferred to have a larger private pool.
The community pools are nice though-but do ask if they are heated or not,if youwntto spend time swimming in those.

Enjoy your holiday,
Lynn

Try hotelmartusa.com. They have pretty good rates for this resort also.

just last week I was bidding on a home in Terre Verde on ebay - it is a 6 bedroom 5&1/2 bathroom private pool & jacuzzi home. I lost but the ending bid was only $77.35 per night. The owner has other dates available & I'm guessing that you could get a huge 6 bedroom home in the same development for what you would be spending on the townhome. like other posters have said, I'd shop around, $155 seems sort of high for a townhome.

We are planning our first trip with a private pool home in June this year and I found great homes 4 bd. private pool playstation dvd everything....for 100.00 per night. The developement is only 15 min. to Disney. I would shop around. Try this website lastminutevillas.com. Fill out what you are looking for and when you are planning to go. I started receiving e-mails from owners with prices and pictures in about 30 minutes. I think you will be surprised. Good luck

My friends own a townhouse at Terra Verde named Vero Beach for some reason, which they rent through the management company www.floridasunshine.com.
It is immaculate, and my DH and I are renting it for 14 nights in the Summer prior to transferring to the Dolphin. If you would like their personal information just pm me. The townhouse has a small individual pool as well as use of the communal pool of course.

I am a villa owners on Terra Verde and you will find both townhouses and villas on this resort. Some of the townhouses have a private pool but most of them have Hottubs. All the villas, whick range from 4 to 7 bedrooms, have private pools. Some of them have a spa attached to pool. If you stay at a townhouse without a pool you can use the clubhouse heated resort pool which is excellent and much bigger than most pools of this type. The clubhouse also has excellent facilities including a Cyber Cafe, spa, jacuzzi, sauna, lounge, indoor games room, basketball and volley ball courts, fishing lake and a play area for young children. All villa and townhouse guests can use the clubhouse free of charge. Even if you rent a villa with a private pool, some guests (especially those with teenagers) like the sociability of using the resort pool.
