And LAX has one other redeeming quality -- the pizza at that pizza place over by the Southwest gates is some of the best I've ever had, let alone fast-food

What a great report, Teri! I have gone to WDW without the family a few times now. I have met my mom there three times. I do end up missing them. I'm traveling solo for the convention, too. It sounds like you really needed this getaway, & it sounds like it's off to a great start! t
