TGIF!!!!!!!

This week seems to have gone by pretty quickly. Pretty soon we'll be leaving for our Disney Cruise :cool1:

Today has been a pretty good day... I did get on the scale this morning and no big gain from last night, just the expected water retention.... I dropped kids off at school and headed to the gym. Had a really good workout, 30 minutes weights, 30 minutes glider, 20 minutes stairmaster and 20 minutes treadmill. Would have walked longer, but need to get other stuff done. Went by the grocery store and then headed home. DH called the doctor regarding headburn problems and they suggested he go to the emergency to have a ECG done just in case. Turned out to be just fine and they think he might have a ulcer starting and needs to go see our regular doctor. We were suppose to go to dinner and a movie, but that was scrapped and I took the girls to Country Buffett for dinner. Oh that was a big mistake :crazy2: The salad bar was fine, but had some of the other "stuff" they serve and wasn't impressed at all. The place was fine when the kids were young, but we won't eat there anymore.

We are now kicking back this evening (or ready to throw up in my case :crazy2: ) and will drink lots of water. Tomorrow is our annual Easter Egg Hunt that I help organized, so I'll be up early to get that set-up. I'm actually going to be the Easter Bunny this year since I can actually fit into the costume :flower: No other plans for the weekend, so I'll stay OP and drink my water. Can't believe Sunday is the start of Spring.... about darn time :flower: :flower:
 
Today's Easter Egg Hunt was a big success. Woke up early way too early, but was about to fall back to sleep for a little while. Got up about 7:30 and was up at the park by 8:45. We had lots of help, so putting eggs out went really fast. I was the Easter Bunny this year, which was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed giving me hugs, but some of the little ones were a little freaked out. :scared1:

We were up there till about 10:30, then came home.

Food today has been good, cereal w/banana for breakfast, 3 egg white omelette for lunch, 100 calorie snack for dessert and so far about 60 ounces of water. The scale this morning said 163.5, so I'm definitely looking at a loss for Tuesday if I don't screw it up. Still can't wait to see that 159 for the first time, hopefully by next week.

Today were watching movies and just hanging out. Kids have friends over, so they are keeping occupied. I might even take a nap today, but it's starting to get late and might not happen.

This week I have to get stuff for the girls Easter baskets. Won't do a lot of candy, but wanted to find stuff for them for the cruise, journals, pens, flip flops, sunglasses, etc. Need to hit the Disney Store maybe tomorrow or Monday and see what I can find. They love Eeyore and Tinker Bell, so maybe a tee shirt or tank top would be nice. We have just over 6 weeks to go, so I'll see to finish up on shopping and start getting this laid out for packing. I can't WAIT to hit the beach and some warm sun. :sunny: :sunny:

Got on the scale this morning and it went from 162.5 to 163, finally settling on 163. I'm thinking I would be at 162.8 if I was to WI at WW today. Drinking lots of water and staying under points, so tomorrow I'm hoping to see nothing higher than 162.5 on the scale. That could get me to 162 on Tuesdays WI, if not less :-) I'll be working extra hard to see that 159 the following week :cool1:

It still won't get me to my 161 goal, but it's still a consistant loss of about 1.5 pounds, which is just fine. I still want to have one of those 2.5+ losses to help catch me up. 13 pounds to go in 6 weeks is going to be very hard, but still can get close.

Food today is a 3 egg white omelette for breakfast and a WW 5 point meal for lunch. Nick took meat out for meatloaf for dinner, but not sure I'll have that. Don't eat alot of hamburger meat these days.

Tomorrow I'll be working out with weights again and have a good cardio day working out as many calories as possible for Tuesdays WI. I seem to becoming more and more obsessed with the number of pounds I lose each week, but know as I get closer to the cruise, it won't matter as much. When I get home, I'll get back on the program and get to my goal.

Feeling very lazy today, even though the sun is out and it's the first day of spring. I "should" get off this computer and out of my chair :scratchin

Well today the scale showed 162.5, so I'm thinking tomorrow it'll be about 162, if not lower. It's been dropping about .5 the past few days, but who knows, especially after doing weights the day before weigh in. If I lose another 1.5 or higher, I'll be happy. 2 pounds would totally make my day :teeth: That 159 is so stinkin' close :goodvibes My workout today was good, 30 minutes weights, 60 minutes on the glider and 45 minutes on the treadmill. Food today has been about the same, slimfast for breakfast, 2 WW carrot cakes for snack and a Healthy Choice meal for lunch. Not sure what I'll have for dinner, but probably something light and then tomorrow I'll treat myself if my WI is good :teeth:

Had to run to the store to pick up a few things for the girls Easter baskets... I got some candy, but picked up some pj bottoms with Eeyore & Tinkerbell (their favs) with matching tank tops and some socks with the same characters. I'll run to the Disney Store later this week and see whatever I can find.

Not much else going on today, finish up some laundry, run the vaccum and just pick up around the house. Need a shower and then I will kick back and enjoy some quiet time without the kids while I can.

Where do you find the WW carrot cakes?? Carrot cake is my fav!!

I've found the WW Carrot Cakes only at Super Walmarts. They also have a chocolate one, but I love the carrot cake ones better. They are only 1 point each. They carry muffins too, banana & blueberry, but those are 3 points each. I'd rather have 3 carrot cakes :earboy2:

You know, a friend was telling me about these & I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THEM!! I've been to Super Wal-Mart, Super Target, you name it!! Do they put them on the bread aisle, cereal aisle...where are they?? I must know, I'm going bonkers!!

You are doing so incredibly well!!!! I remember back in Feb we were both aiming for the 160s. Now you are aiming for the 150s and I'm still hoping for 160s. I think I better start turning some of my meals into egg-white omletts! You rock!

Tracy - I haven't heard about Super Target having them, but only the Super Walmarts. I have found them in the bread isle, which also has the donuts (figures :sad2: ) I would ask someone, and if they don't have them, see if they can order them. Here they are very popular and I've notice more and more WW products hitting the store.

Thanks Sunny - It's amazing how quickly time has gone by. I lost reading the old posts, when I was shooting for those 180's, then the 170's. Now those 150's are so close and can't WAIT to see 140's :cool1: You keep up those incredible workouts and kick me in the butt to try and keep up ;)



Well today IS a good day. My WI went great, losing 2.6 pounds (better than I thought) which brings me to 46.8 pounds, a new 45 pound clippie and just 3.2 pounds away from my 50 :cool1: :cool1: It's so great seeing 161.2 on the scale and I just can't wait to see those 150's for the first time in like FOREVER.

I was able to get 40 minutes on the treadmill before WI and will be leaving for bowling in a little while. Food so far has just been a slimfast and string cheese after WI. I'm sure there is a WW meal for lunch, but think I will treat myself with something special for dinner tonight. :flower: :flower:

I'm feeling really great today and will update my journal later tonight.

How funny that Tracy would ask about the carrot cakes..because I was searching the store today..and I'm thinking..."I have no clue if they are in the freezer section, bakery, refrigerator"...then I thought.."if only I could call Tera!! :rotfl: " So, I came home to see how your WI went and find out about those cakes! The hunt is on for me!

Well... I think the signs of PMS are starting to hit me. I was in a great mood all day, but now that it's evening, I've feeling a little bummed. You'll have to excuse my blabbing....... I'm wearing my new size 12 jeans wondering if I can get into a size 10 size they are alittle baggy. I know they are not "true" 10's (meaning I can't get into 10's of any other brands) I got a lot of wonderful comments today regarding my weight loss and a lot of surprise when I told people that I still needed to lose 25 pounds. Tonight I'm wondering why I don't feel better about myself and wondering WHEN that will happen. My butt, especially my "saddle bags" are still so big and even though my clothes are smaller, I really don't FEEL much smaller. I've lost almost 50 pounds and I still feel FAT :earseek: I wonder to myself if when I lose 60 pounds I'll feel better or will it take more?????

Okay, maybe the reason I feel fat is because I'm watching a DVD of Sex in the City (first season) and all these skinny beautiful people are on there :earboy2:

Maybe tomorrow I'll get out of this rut, but I think I have a whole week of this to look forward to :rolleyes:

You know, the only saving grace with me on this one is that not only do I not KNOW any of these skinny beautiful people, I've only seen them on tv...I really believe that are computer-generated...like Yoda on the new Star Wars movie... :earboy2:
 
Tracy - Thinking about it more, I don' t know of any of those "people" either. Probably not the best show to watch while your trying to lose weight and PMSing at the same time :earboy2:

Katie will be heading to school in a few minutes and then I'll be off to the gym. Have a bunch of running around to do today before heading up to the school to help out in Katie's class and then the library. Today is our Del Taco night fundraiser and have already decided I will save enough points and have atleast 1 taco. I know it'll be loaded with sodium, so tomorrow I will be drinking lots of water (not like it's any different from what I've been doing). I'm going to head by Foley's today and try on those 10's. I don't care if it's a true 10 or not, it'll just be yet another smaller size.

I think PMS will always make us feel fat. I can go from "admiring" my arms and abs to utter disgust overnight! I have those same saddle bags.. where'd we pick those up????? I can really relate. I still look at my legs and butt and think they don't look any different than they did 70 lbs ago. I know it can't be true, but that's how I feel. (TOM arrive last night, so maybe I'm not the best one to spread positive vibes right now) :earboy2:
