Even Remy enjoys La Cava


The San Angel Margarita is served chilled and the Classica is served over ice.
We prefer the San Angel ... authentic margarita. It seems the glass is always empty ...


A new one is the Hibiscus ... sweet at first and a slightly bitter taste at the end, at least when I tasted it.

They have been available both times I've been (Nov. '09, August '10) but they are listed on a flyer on the table... not in the menu.

I was told last time I was there that they do not have the Margarita shooters on the weekends...which stinks because I have not been able to go on a weekday since they opened!

But the margaritas are yummmyyyy...I really wish I could get there at opening so I could get a table and really enjoy some appetizers and a few different drinks but it has not worked out yet. Maybe in December....

Drats!! I didn't think of that, I will prob be in Epcot on Friday when I go in December...someone (or something) is trying to keep me from those margarita shooters!!

Look for my trip report starting either this sunday or upcoming monday! I will have your answer because if I can get them on Friday you should be able too in Dec.

Warning! Those specialty margaritas are strong! I've tried the Blood Orange & the Passionfruit. I preferred the blood orange. The passion fruit one had a little too strong of a ginger taste for me, but both were really strong. One was plenty for me & I don't consider myself a lightweight. Enjoy!

just there this afternoon. Got 2 regular frozen margaritas (1 strawberry, 1 lime) and were very pleased. the bartender mixed them individually which was nice compared to the place outside where they are dispensed from a machine.

It was also 90 degrees, so 20 minutes in the tequila cave was a very refreshing break.

Sampler is $18 I believe. Had two one day...can run up a big tab in this place rather quickly.
