Tequila Bar in Mexico - Any News???

I thought I read that during summer 2007 Epcot was adding a Tequila Bar to the Mexico pavilion - it was supposed to replace one of the shops in the indoor courtyard.

Has anyone seen this with their own eyes?

Anyone stopped in for a drink ... or four?

Looking for any information you fine DISers can provide ...

Hubby and I were wondering the same thing just the other day. We are heading up this weekend and will check it out for ourselves. I will let you know unless someone gets the info before we get up there.

as of last week the jewlery store was still open
CM i talked to said it would be a good six months

Thanks for the responses - I see I was not the only person with alcohol on the mind today as someone else started a similar thread after I did.

Sad to hear the bar won't be open by the middle of October as that is when our next trip is scheduled. Guess the hubby and I will have to wait until a trip some time in 2009 to give this a try.
