I am going to be in Epcot on my birthday and I am torn about which to do for dinner on my birthday. It is me, my DH, DD6, DS3, and DM50-ish.

We LOVE Japanese places here. I was confused to see that they had steamed rice on the menu, we are used to fried rice. What the deal breaker would be is does Teppen Edi have something comparable to the "shrimp" sauce that we have here. It is a pinkish creamy sauce that is so good. We don't like ginger and i don't know what "oriental" sauce is.

Also, Tutto Italia is a possiblity (I have ressies here too, wondering which to cancel).

I just don't know! My kids love the Japanese restaurants here adn I think that would be a safe choice.

HELP!

Since they remodeled they did add the sauce that we call Yummy Sauce they also have mustard and teriyaki sauce.

While we found the food at Teppan Edo okay, it was much different that our local Japanese restaurants. If you have a local one you already love, then I would steer clear and try Tutto instead.

For us, not having the fried rice and having the noodles mixed in was much different and not to the good. I also went in thinking I would be able to order sushi off the Tokyo dining menu and wasn't able to do so. The Teppan sushi menu is very limited.
