I know that the chef prepares your food right at the table. Both DSs, as well as DH and I, are on the picky side, when it comes to food. We all have ingredients that we would not want in our food.
Do they ask you specifically what you want??? For example, my older DS likes brocolli but wouldn't want mushrooms or onions or anything else mixed in with the meat and noodles. Do the chefs speak English and do they ask you EXACTLY what you want??
I have visions of ordering the "chicken and steak" combo and then the chef immediately cooking it with mushrooms, onions, etc, before we'd have a chance to say that we don't like some of those ingredients. LOL
If someone would give me a play-by-play of this restaurant, from the time you walk in, until the time you walk out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

We went to Teppanyaki this past May and the May before. Believe it or not, we had the same chef at the same table. Go figure. Anyway, I had the chicken and steak. Both times I got the meat separate from the vegatable. In 2004, he asked who didn't like mushrooms, but this past time, he didn't. I don't know why. He adds them together at the last minute, so the flavors don't blend together. I've always just eaten around the mushrooms. I'm sure you can speak up and they will accomodate you. I would suggest letting the woman who takes your order know in advance.
Wish I could go get some good Teppanyaki again soon but I just got back from Hawaii and I was spoiled there! Ate twice at my fave teppanyaki restaurant.
