Teppanyaki or Biergarten?

Going next week with DW and DDs (3 and 5). Choosing between Teppanyaki or Biergarten for dinner. Any opinions on which might be better for children? I thought the cooking at the table would be fun but also Biergarten has band and dancing. Have never been to either one. Thanks.

Both are good and they will enjoy the entertaining chef or the germany show. You might want to look at the menus and see which one suits your little ones taste better.

We love the Biegarten. The children will have a blast. The band usually asks the kids to come up on the dance floor and dance.

The food is wonderful -- we go at least once on every trip.

We've been to both and love both. Both are very kid friendly as are most all WDW restaurants. On our last trip we ate at Teppanyaki twice because we had such a great time. Desserts are better in Germany but you can always stop by the sanck bar in Germany for a little strudel. Which ever you decide I'm sure you want be disappointed.

We've done both and love both. Just depends on if you want rousing, loud entertainment or quiet. My kids ate very well at both!

Cons:

Biergarten is a buffet. I hate buffets with little kids. Too much toting of their plates and mine back and forth, I never feel like I get to sit and eat. This may be just me, but it is something to keep in mind.

On the other hand, Teppanyaki is a hot grill, inches from you. They seat the kids on the end of the grill, where it is less hot. We took my four and five year old and they did fine, but parents with particularly squirmy kids, or parents who are particularly nervous may not enjoy having their children's fingers that close to a hot grill. There is room for two on the end, so you will not be seated next to both your children.

(I like both restaurants, but both have their problems when traveling with kids).
