Teppanyaki? Need Opinons

I was at that restaurant on Aug 15th and I loved it as much as my other 4 visits. The chef was great and the kids enjoyed watching him cook. The food is the freshest served because you see them cook it right in front of you. This was the only big restaurant that my friend and I took the kids to and it was a big hit.

We went there for lunch in April. It was delicious! The best scallops I've EVER had! If you go for lunch, you can save some money and they give you plenty of food. The kids enjoyed it, too. They all had the shrimp.

My Hubby and I are big fans of Japanese food. For Birthdays and special occasions, we usually go out to a Japanese Restaurant.
During our visit to WDW last May, we did eat at Teppanyaki and the food and the show the chef put on were good. Our only disappointment we had was they didn't serve fried rice and and didn't serve Golden Shrimp (egg yolk batter) Those are 2 things every Japanese Restaurant has had on the menu that we've been too and the Golden Shrimp is our Favorite. Otherwise, it was good and we will go back.:D

I appologize if anyone takes this personaly...just a cultural note.

No need to apologize, you're absolutely right about the fried rice. I'm not too fond of Japanese cuisine, but the others in my group are, so we're going to give this one a try. Maybe Disney's is a bit better than what you can get in Oklahoma.:)

We ate there on 8-6 and my dh thinks it was the best meal of our trip. We decided to go with a late lunch and it was great. Our family of 5 sat with a couple on there honeymoon. Great time!! Will definately go next trip.

It was good, but aside from the whole fried rice thing (which even though it is Chinese they have always had it when we've been to these types of Japanese places) the thing we missed the most was Teriyaki sauce on the chicken and steak. The meat just seemed sort of dry without it and since we are not big fans of the other sauces, this left us no options. We did enjoy it though, but our chef seemed bored and really didn't do anything special while cooking.
