Has anyone had any luck getting through to the dining special line that is handling these? I have left two messages, yesterday and today, and also tried to stay on the line for over an hour but nothing

Getting really fustrated
:headache:

There is a special number set up to handle the reservations being cancelled for Teppan Edo/Teppanyaki. The number is 800-711-4344. Not sure if this has been posted yet. They just called me and offered free VIP fireworks viewing for the inconvienience.

That is the number I have been calling and also the one I left two messages on and can't get through to anyone and I haven't heard back from anyone

When are you going?

We'll be there from 8-27 to 9-2. We had an ADR for Teppan Edo on 9-1. Now I'm trying to switch to Coral Reef. Oh and were staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

I called yesterday and was on hold for about 40 minutes before getting a CM. They did take care of my ADR and gave me one at Le Cellier along with the VIP seating. Keep trying, good luck!:thumbsup2

We also got the call from Disney tonight cancelling our 9/2 reservation. I stayed on hold for an hour and never got through. I finally left a message, not that I think we will get a return phone call. Unfortunately, I don't have time to sit on hold during the day and the last thing I want to do is sit on hold tomorrow night again. Our problem is we have a party of 9 people, 4 of them small children, so we can't be eating dinner at 8 or 9 at night. I made a back up ressie at the Princess Storybook breakfast for 9/2 AM, but we have been there and done that way too many times, so I am hoping we can get something else. The regular dining line offered us 9 Dragons, but YUCK! I definitely don't want to waste my table service on that. We also were offered the priority seating at Illuminations, but I am not sure how they will guarantee that. Hopefully something better will be available, but I am not holding my breath.

I got the call tonight to change a 9/8 ressie and got to choose just about any time I wanted at almost any restaurant -- I took Le Cellier plus got VIP Illuminations! From what the CM told me, they have been calling people in "ressie date order" and what is happening is that word has gotten out and now people with ressies later in Sept./Oct. are calling and tying up the lines. She said that return calls would be made to those who's reservation dates are closest to the current date, so don't give up hope on a return call! She also gave me a conf. # for the VIP seating -- we are supposed to give that number when we check in for dinner and the hostess will give us badges and directions for the VIP seating.

I finally got a call this afternoon about 24 hours after I left my first message. In all honesty though the CM didn't act like she was returning a phone call, she started giving her talk about the renovations being carried over into Oct like I didn't already know. Anyway, I was offered what ever I wanted pretty much. My first choice was Coral Reef, but only if I could change my other CR ADR to a Mama Melrose Fantasmic package. That did not work. So I went with my second choice (which is probably better), Le Cellier. She noticed all my other dinner ADR's were 5:30 or 6:00 so she offered me either of those. My ADR date is 9/17. I was told to go to Epcot Guest Relations the day of the meal to pick up my VIP passes. I was also given a confirmation number for the VIP passes. She even said the VIP seating would probably be on the bridge as you enter in to World Showcase. Now I have not been to Epcot since 1996, so I am not sure exactly where that is. HTH!

We finally got through on the phone last night at about 9:00 p.m. Got Coral Reef at 6 p.m. with the VIP Illuminations. :thumbsup2 I am glad Disney got everything resolved. Not sure how they are going to seat all these extra people in the restaurants without major delays, but I am sure they will figure something out.
