Someone said the vegetables are mixed with the noodles. Can you ask for vegetables only, no noodles? And what dessert is the best?

I'm sure you could, the veggies and udon noodles are made separate on the grill,so just ask for veggies only. I love the green tea cake but it's an acquired taste so be aware.

If you have ever drank authentic Japanese green tea and then combined it into a mouse with sponge cake with whipped cream on top. If you love green tea as much as I do then this cake will be a hit. Just be aware it is not incredibly sweet like Western cakes are.

The green tea cake is very good but my favorite is the ginger mousse cake with chocolate icing.

Absolutely love it, my boyfriend insists its the first ADR made every year. If we have a spare TS he makes us go twice! Food couildnt be more freshly cooked and if you get a good chef they make it a great experience, see pic of Mickey made of onions!

@mouserrificmom if it helps: This is my dinner at Teppan Edo from January of this year. It was the Filet and white rice (mine was cooked allergen free in the kitchen though it is similar to what you would get on the hibachi grill at your table) mine had the white rice since I can not eat the Sukiyaki Beef Rice that they serve. They also serve a salad for a starter with what I believe is a ginger dressing.

Hey everyone! We have Teppan Edo booked for our upcoming trip. Our family loves hibachi, but wondering how it compares with off property hibachi places. Do they use garlic in their cooking? Can you get the rice without beef in it? Are the noodles the same? Sorry for all the questions! Thank you!

Go read my post on the first page (post #11) with the photo. It explains everything, other than how it compares to outside Hibachis, which it's better IMO.
